My comic strips are not updating and loading new strips on the days that I want them to. I have a jpg file that is called 20010917.jpg. And it's still showing the 20010914.jpg picture. I even manually tried to update it and it did nothing. What is going on? Why is it doing this?

Your comic is up, now. When you update a comic for the day you want it to show up, there are several factors to keep in mind. Main thing: When you sign up for Keenspace, you sign up for an update time. That time is when Keenspace says 'okay, it's a new day' and places your comic in queue to update. If your time is set as 7pm for an update, that is the time that Keenspace switches over. So, say you have a comic for the 18th of September. You can upload it on the 17th, but it will *not* update until 7pm, because that's when Keenspace recognized that the day has switched over to the 18th, and thus switches to the new image.
Now, as for your problem - when you put the comic in your FTP, did you go to your members page and request a regular update? That *should* take care of things. But the other thing you have to watch for is this - when you request an update, a page will pop up that says you are 'x' number in queue. This means you have that many people AHEAD of you that will update first. And if that number is larger than say, 15 or so, it's going to take a lot longer than the 'few minutes' that the page says, because it has to go through all those people, and *then* update your site. Now from what I'm seeing here, you put in a comic for today, it was dated for today, and it 'wasn't updating', but it has updated, now. What number were you in queue when you ran the update? How long did you wait for it to show before posting here? Post back and let us know, please.
------------------

I waited for a few hours, and I'm sure my queue was 1. What hour is my keenspace updater set to? I need my comic up as soon as the day begins.

Don't worry. The same thing happened to me. Turned out a couple of hours later, the n ew file was up.
It'll take a couple of minutes to some hours. Depending on what would take it long to update Oo
------------------
