Good Halibut

Post by Fading Aura »

C'mon, you knew Joel was going to trout that one out. Depending on your point of view, it's a good halibut. ;)

Round 1 - Match 12 - Fusion vs. Ton (Tim vs. Kdawg)

{ABOL} One of our featured battles in this Arena is Fusion vs. Ton. Fusion, backed by Tim, is a combination of the beautiful Fushia, plus a symbiote similar to the one we saw last year. Ton by comparison, is a much loved frog with a tie. Ton merchandise may be purchased outside the arena.

{Net} I got a pair of Ton panties!

{ABOL} Why?

{Net} We're sending a care package to McDuffies.

* Two dozen young ladies wave their panties while holding up a "We <3 Ton" sign*

1 - Ton leaps into the air and tries to throw a spin-kick at Fusion's midriff! Fusion shoves her tentacled hair into the sands and launches herself into the air, completely avoiding Ton's attack with a critical dodge.

2 - Fusion lands several feet away and immediately throws a tentacle at Ton, but Ton avoids the attack and manages to kick the tentacale hard for 1 damage.

3 - Ton leaps forward and kicks Fusion in the back for 2 damage. Fusion shouts angrily and whips around, but misses clawing Ton's face off by mere inches.

4 - Ton leaps backwards. Fusion races forwards, trying to close the gap.

5 - Fusion lunges for Ton, claws outstretched, but Ton leaps away. Fusion lands face first on the sands.

6 - Ton turns to prepare to attack Fusion while she's down, but Fusion, instead of standing, shape shifts to a standing position and launches her arm out at Ton, stretching the muscle and skin until the claw reaches all the way to Ton, and the claws dig into his face. She rips downward, cutting Ton for 6 damage!

*Ton's fans boo loudly and throw their Ton panties over the arena wall in protest*

*... their extra panties, you perverts*

7 - Ton shrieks and puts his hands to his face in pain. Fusion grins evilly and moves towards Ton.

8 - Fusion launches two tentacles at Ton, each hitting him in the chest, causing 4 damage. Ton leaps into the air towards Fusion and kicks her with both his feet, in the face! (8 damage)

9 - Not letting up, Ton starts kicking Fusion wherever he can. Kicks land on her shins, chest, and face. In a flurry of kicks, he does 7 damage.

Fusion falls backwads, unconcious.

Winner: Ton! Ton glows and is healed. His adoring fans scale the protective barriers and run onto the Arena! They carry Ton off the arena floor over their heads.

Loser: Fusion. An giant sized ogre mage stomps onto the field, and stands over Fusion. He mutters arcane words and traces symbols in the air. Suddenly, the air erupts and a portal opens. Fusion is sucked into the portal.

Moments later, she is spit out and lands back on the sands, healed. She leaps into the air, changes form to something... inhuman... but spikey and long legged, that runs off the field.

Ton claims this victory for the great city of Toronto! :P

Also backstage:

Angry: What the hell was that you idiot frog?

Ton: Silly Angry; that's a victory. It happens when you win something. :D

Angry: I know what a victory is you sad sack of crap. I mean you were sloppy as hell out there. What the hell was that? You got hit 2 times? If I was in there I wouldn't even be touched. You're representing me assclown, don't make me look stupid! :x

Ton: Sorry Angry, I'll try harder next time. :(

Angry: pfft, I doubt that...but...good job on actually winning, still sloppy as hell though.

Ton: I knew you cared! :D

Angry: Go to hell. :x

You're really fishing for puns now.

Honestly, Joel should be the sole person making puns here. We're like fish out of water.

Holy mackarel, I gotta stop.

First off, I apologize for not reading the first 20 pages of posts... I don't have that kind of time. Can someone please quickly tell me how to join? --the battle, that is.
I am new and need as much help as possible. I'll update my sig as more things arise, but currently:
1) No one knows my comic exists.
2) I can't draw very well yet.
--In other news, my site is becoming half-decent.

Yup, with 32 participants, it's nearly 100 battles to resolve the winner.

Battles I'm behind on.

Some of which will be rectified on Monday. :D

Round 1 Match 13 - Tammy (Dotty) vs. Heran (Hogan)

{ABOL} A slender female elf and a burly bare-chested barbarian walk into an arena...

{Net} I don't think we're rated for you to tell that joke.

{ABOL} No joke - it's this battle! Tammy, sponsored by Dotty, is a slender female elf skilled in the use of rubber ducks for attacking. Heran is a large, burly barbarian with a mean looking axe. Ironically, both are masters of the technical arts, and so are skilled at deflecting the other's attacks.

1 - Tammy and Heran both throw their weapons of choice while racing towards each other! In the magic of slow motion, Tammy's rubber duck passes just inches from Heran's axe. Unfortunately, the magic of slow motion only works on the weapons themselves, and so Tammy and Heran are obligated to stop a few feet apart and wait for this to sort out.

... the Axe whistles forward, hitting Tammy in the shoulder with a sickening crack. She takes 8 damage! The rubber duck hits Heran in the face with a satisfying "squeak!" for 2 damage. Unlucky for Heran, his axe does not return. The duck however, flies back to Tammy.

2 - Enraged, Heran grabs Tammy and tosses her towards the far arena wall. She lands with the deftness of an elf, critically dodging any damage she'd have otherwise taken.

3 - Tammy rushes forward and tosses her duck again, but the duck misses Heran. Heran grabs the duck. The duck dutifully flies back to Tammy, dragging Heran along for the ride.

4 - Heran lets go and lands atop Tammy, crushing her for 6 damage. She doesn't get up, despite her rubber duck's squeaky pleadings.

Winner - Heran! Heran glows, is healed, and gains a stat point. He grabs his axe, kicks the rubber duck, and laughs evilly about the constitution of elven maidens as he leaves the field.

Loser - Tammy. An ogre chef rolls a cart out onto the arena. On the cart is a meat grinder. He shoves a live duck into the grinder, and amidst it's honks of peril and pain, grinds it into a fleshy pulp. He adds a sprig of parsley for taste, and a straw for easy drinking. As he approaches Tammy, Tammy's duck attacks the Ogre, but the ogre shoos it away, and feeds Tammy the duck-laiden concoction. She gags and sits up, healed. As the Ogre leads the cart away, Tammy throws her duck at him, hitting him in the back of the head and leaving a nasty welt. Then she storms off the arena floor.
