"Pictures"? That sounds plural. Are you trying to upload multiple images? If so, how're you doing that? The uploader'll only take .png/gif/jpg files, IIRC, so if you're sending in a ZIP, it won't work.msierens wrote:I am trying to signup but each time I go to put in my sample picture I get an error saying "FAIL, File did not upload, please upload files under 500KB, please rescale or optimize." I have tried resizing my pictures down to 13kb and still it will not go through please help me.

I actually tried to get an account about two weeks ago, but used a hotmail account, so I never got it until two weeks later when I get a fun fun "We are deleting your sign-up." Now I'm not sure if the activations e-mails are on a diffrent server then the deletion e-mails, but I'm not sure how it would block it. so, i get another e-mail at a less stingy domain to hopefully rectify the problem..
How is it I can actually get the mail through without having to wait two weeks. This is prolly the second or third time I've had to do this, and it's a bit discerning.
Someone please help!
The e-mail's i'd like to send it to are either paradox_libra@yahoo.com or miragecalhoun@hotmail.com, and the username was epidelu....
I have removed the spam blocking on both of them.

Try removing the space in the name and see if it works then. If it still doesn't work, PM me and I'll try to sign up for you. That should work if nothing else does.msierens wrote:using IE. Here is one of the images. I might note I have almost no artistic talent, but still can be cute and funny.
[EDIT] MekkiMok3, go here to request a new password. You should have gotten one in an email, but whatever. [/EDIT]

you don't create a password on keenspace, they create it for you. once you get the submission e-mail confirmation through, it can take up two one or two weeks to process your request and give you a password.

I don't know exactly what's going on, but when I logged in to my webcomic site admin page for the first time, username "islandofhell," I noticed "Lelita&Amber" as authors of my comic, me being Christopher Contreras. I have no clue on Earth who "Lelita&Amber" are. Why are they listed as co-authors...?

Similar issue with my new webcomic "Cold Servings" While it has my name on it, it also has an Irving Guttierez listed as an author. As I said in a topic I created on this subject, I'm sure Irving is a nice enough fellow, but he has nothing to do with my comic.islandofhell wrote:I don't know exactly what's going on, but when I logged in to my webcomic site admin page for the first time, username "islandofhell," I noticed "Lelita&Amber" as authors of my comic, me being Christopher Contreras. Im having trouble signing up, when ive finished filling everything out and all I press the verify button and it says sending to site.admin@keenspace.com and it does that forever and never loads and the one time it did load, it didnt do anything but erase everything I have filled out.
I, too, had that... I "edited" to be me and deleted the other default me, and now after a few days and several full updates it's gone.dburkhead wrote:Similar issue with my new webcomic "Cold Servings" While it has my name on it, it also has an Irving Guttierez listed as an author. I suggest the following:Frojo wrote:Im having trouble signing up, when ive finished filling everything out and all I press the verify button and it says sending to site.admin@keenspace.com and it does that forever and never loads and the one time it did load, it didnt do anything but erase everything I have filled out.
1.) Be patient. It may actually have worked. Takes a few hours/days to get the first email.
2.) What browser are you using?
3.) Do you have a firewall?

I'm sorry, I don't understand, do I recieve an email after I had signed up? Or the email comes around 2 weeks after? I thought to check the signup status and here's what I got:
I'm wondering if this signup email was sent to me or to the admin, because if something was sent to me, I didn't recieve anything. (I'm using GMail, would that be a problem?)Signup found, status:
Signup email sent, waiting activation or purge

No, I actually understand that GMail is one of the better e-mail providers to have the mail sent to. I had to try three times, what I did was make it so that my filters allowed anything from butch.keenspace.com and keenspace.com to go through before I actually got the e-mail, and I got mine a few days after I had applied. Just be patient, and if you don't hear anything by the end of the week, try again with another e-mail. Hotmail works as long as you allow the previously mentioned domains to be filtered through. Then after that you wait at *least* seven days before you get a password, and from there, you are in!
