Well, as a terrifying furry, I was at Anthrocon in Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago. We had about 450 'fursuiters' out of the total ~3,300 attendees.

Some of the outfits were incredibly well-done, including a Spartan lion in full ancient military regalia. Unfortunately I don't have any closeups myself. My new camera is proving tricky to master with the flash.
