I am no longer a cat owner. For... wow, for I guess the first time in my life barring a short period before I was even a year old. Goddamn it. But I guess I've crested the grief madness and am starting to stabilize. I just hope I stop having random crying fits before I have to return to work on Monday.

Aaaaanyhow I purchased City of Heroes/City of Villains in an attempt to find a distraction yesterday. So if anyone wants to beat up supervillains/rob banks with me, let me know and we can hook up on a server.

I appreciate the sentiment McDuffies, Phact, but you don't need to go out of your way. Just 'cause I'm having a rough couple of days does not mean that life, joy, and snarkiness need to be on hold.

So uh... fact to add fact to add...

I have a terrible fear that I do nothing but follow in my sister's footsteps, and that every attempt I make to NOT do so merely winds up with me doing nothing at all. Like, not taking classes at the community college in High School, or the fact that the job I have now is the job she left to go find better opportunities.

I really need to set some personal goals or something.

That too. But 'setting personal goals' might wind up with me actually accomplishing something important and unique (within my family, anyway) to me. Like, taking more film classes or actually working on some comic ideas of mine. You know, good fulfilling stuff.

film classes are good bec! and if your looking to get involved in film as a goal let me know. I might be able to give you some advice and all that.
