It's when you say "...sex should be..." that's the key. You didn't say "I prefer to think of it as..." or "I've found I more enjoy it when it's used as..." you said "should be". Meh. I'll own up to mistifying the act, if you like. I prefer to think that makes me a romantic - and yes, a bit of a prude - rather than repressed. Nobody bothered to repress my sexual awakenings, that I remember.

Eh... Fair enough.

I think the line between romantic and repressed, in the "special thing to be shared" direction at least, is vanishingly thin... And mostly colored by whether you demand the behaviour of yourself or others.

I demand and expect it of myself, mostly. (The shows that go on in my hindbrain when I see women baring it all on T.V. doesn't count since it's out of my control.) It's nice to see it in another person, but I don't expect the whole world to be as I am. That'd just be unrealistic.
