YIKES! ... Too soon... Comic for 2/28

that wasn't my point, this is a "feel good" comic, it'd be out of line with the rest of the comic to have her die without a lot of warning. I could see T having clara die now that her mortality has been established, but not alisin, she'd have to get sick (hospitalized sick) and still then it'd probably have to be a bit. Death is a shocking thing, it's sudden appearence would change the face of the comic, and I think that T only wants to develope the characters, not change the mood of the entire comic..

again I don't think she's going to die with in the next month if ever...

Hi again. I think I tried to reply to all this earlier (Maybe I thought about it and then took thought for deed and moved on, who knows with me). ANyway, thanks for the link, Tom. It was too funny and brought back some lovelly Dr. Seuss-esque memories.

I think Alisin gould die (and not just wishful thinking either). I think that if she's not the General (and I really think there's a good probability that she is, more there later). . . then she dies. As my DH has pointed out Rikk would never leave Alisin becasue then he would no longer be Rikk. He'd loose his Palidin status. Personally, I think Rikk would not leave Alisin because he's deluded himself: If we have sex, then we MUST be 'married' even if I know we are, in fact, not. . . If we're having sex, then this must be something special, true love even. And so on. If this train of thought ever derails, it would break something essential in Rikk's psyche, which is maybe the same as what the DH said, but more realistic and he hates it. Maybe because the git's another Rikk-type himself

Poor Alisin - it looks like cruel irony is alive and well in Billberg. Can't say that I'm surprised though, we all knew she was sick for some time. It was just a matter of time before it caught up with her. That doesn't make it any better, though. Still, if she dies, it will add an unseen facet to all the characters here - how they deal with loss on a catastrophic level. Personally, I've always rooted for Rikk-Rumi, but not at this price.

My personal view is that this had better not be the last we see of "Donna the Dom", hem. That can't just be a throwaway gag, it just can't be.
(no pun intended)

Anyways, folks, Alisin's fate and Rumy's are separate issues. I personally think that Rikk is the last thing on earth Rumy needs, even if there was never any Alisin in the picture...

You know what would be really twisted? If Alisin's death was the only thing that could prevent the General's victory, and she was here (I presume that the timeship is coming to Billberg) to stop it.

Oooh... shades of "The City on the Edge of Forever"... ties in *very* nicely with the "Teccies" part of this story...

...but we all know that T doesn't do twists in his storylines, right?

I see someone beat me to this... When I was reading the post above, I thought the exact same thing immediately.

Still, while this is reminicent of "City on the Edge of Forever," there are some major differences... I don't think there was an Agent Jones analog in "City" (someone who's looked at it more recently correct me if I'm wrong here), nor were there Seibergs... I'm willing to accept that we'll never see Donna the Dom again, personally, but I want to know more about those 4D space critters, and I think we probably will eventually.
