That's actually good for training.

Comic description: Isukiyomi is a girl who lives in apartment with a bunch of pets:
McDuffies, anthropomorfic cat
TLH, anthropomorphic turtle
Jex, anthropomorphic human
Col, a ghost kind of thing.

The main twist of the comic is that pets are anthropomorphic animals, so there's a sexual tension between them and their owner. For the most part, Isukiyomi shouldn't have to be aware of that tension, which is where we get the most laughs.
A running gag: Isukiyomi and Col spend a lot of time together in a back room. It is never explicitely said what they do there. Other pets always try to find out what they're doing there, but never do find out.
