Hi!
I finally received my verification e-mail, BUT the verification address is not working and so I cannot verify my website. I hope someone could give me a working address.. :>

Something like 2? Not quite sure.Plasmius wrote:Might I be so bold as to inquire how many people there are with such priveleges as required to clean up such haywiredness?
What's going on is that the entire backend of ComicGenesis is being rewritten because the old version caused problems. The admins are working on this as quickly as possible.

Yep only Kelly and Kisai have access to this. If you're asking for stuff about forum accounts I can help somewhat, but unfortunately that's about it.-Fanny pack wrote:Something like 2? has anyone tried siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080 for the verify page? I have no idea what kelly did to my scripts, so I don't know if he copied it over.
At any rate. the signup and the verify page are next on the list to port to php. I have a semi=working login for siteadmin (It's working, but only showing the comic name dammit.)
The thing is, that even though the signup and verification pages have been taken off the real siteadmin, the backend is still in place, and a backend script is what creates/deletes accounts, not the verify script. The verify script just changes "verifed =1" or some such.

Righto. The problem is when we click on the link in the confirmation email we get a 403 error, which could mean we cant view this page until we're actually logged into 8080. if thats the case, then there should be a variable like "loggedin=1" that should be changed to 0 in order to let us view the page without being logged in. of course this is an extremely superficial way of looking at the problem and judging by my past run of luck probably completely wrongKisai wrote:has anyone tried siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080 for the verify page? Erm, and bearing in mind how reluctant the admins seem to be towards manual activation and things of that nature, until the system is finished, would one of you mind doing some manual activations? If its as simple as incrementing a variable, it seems to me it wouldn't be that time consuming to do.
