Christian God hates the Boy Scouts

Post by Rkolter »

July 25th - Four scoutmasters killed at scout Jamboree when they set up tent under power lines and touch them with the metal leader pole of their tent.

July 28th - Assistant scout master and scout killed by lightning strike in Sequoia National Park

July 31st (sunday) - 300 sickened by tremendous heat at same Jamboree scoutmasters on 25th killed at.

August 4th - Lightning kills one scout and injures three others while camping in Utah mountains. Unusual strike misses tall trees and directly impacts building.

So... four killed.
Then lightning.
Then 300 injured by heat on holy day.
Then freaky lightning.

If this holds true, then another set of casualties should occur in the next few days, followed by more lightning.

If I was a scout, I'd consider quitting.

*wonders if godhatesfags is still around*

(edit) it is, blaagh to people who should've been electrocuted instead of scouts. Other than that, better luck to the next scouts. They probably have the anti-christ in their midst bringing bad luck or something.

Well other than the wierd lightning strikeing the building, the rest died due to carelessness, or sick due to negligence. What's worse is these things can be prevented by listening during the meetings about safety.

It sucks, but god damnitt they should have been more careful.

I read about this a few days ago elsewhere.

Lemme dig out the reply I really liked.

You left out the fact that Bush went down to visit the scouts at the Jamboree.

I read about that...my family was talking about it a couple days ago.

It really, really sucks.

Side note: I attribute it to Bermuda Triangle syndrome. There's a theory that if you have any group or center of business and you look hard enough, you will find enough weird and twisted stuff to boggle the mind. Saw it on a show on the Bermuda Triangle. They took a similar "triangle" somewhere in the world--I forgot where--and they found the same pattern of missing boats, weird stuff happening, and this theoretical triangle even had the biggest nautical mystery in the world, the Mary Celeste dissapearances. The reason for either being such a big draw for weird crazy stuff was that both are major trade routes with lots of people traveling through it often.

The point? If you have enough people doing enough stuff in a single area, weird and tragic things will happen.

Lightning, heat, lightning... gasp! How strange indeed!

This must obviously all be a conspiracy perpetrated by Hollywood liberals!

Come on, think about it. How many movies do you see with really good weather special effects? Obviously, Hollywood has had weather controlling machines for years. Follow me on this...

Now why would Hollywood attack the Boy scouts? Well, we all know about how the scouts don't like them the gays. And we also all know how homosexual Hollywood is.

The gays my dear friends! Sweet Eris, the gays! The homos have come for their bloody revenge and we shall ALL suffer their showtune singing might!

Now... just ignore the first incident, as that obviously doesn't fit in with my perfect theory.

Or, as I like to quote, "A once-in-a million chance happens to 6250 people a day. A once-in-a-billion chance happens to 6 people a day."

Still, it'd be spooky if something bad befalls the boy scouts in another three days or so.

I wouldn't worry about it. Now if it were the GIRL Scouts, that'd be a problem. SAVE THE COOKIES!

I kinda knew one of the Alaskan guys (according to my mom--I haven't been following the news that well this summer, so I haven't heard their names or anything). He used to be the head guy at the scout camp I went to waay back in middle school/ninth grade. Scott was a cool guy.

Also, a tornado in Alaska? Dang, I must REALLY be behind on the news.
