Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed longer than it was, and tomorrow was always another game away? Remember when you were a kid and the world held magic the grown ups never knew.
While working through one of the story arcs recently I realised what the kids here mean to me. I love working with them, even the ones that I haven't been able to bring into the strip so much at the moment, but I do have particular soft spots for a few of them.
Clearly Casper's the closest thing there is here to the hero and I enjoy the innocence and mild naievity he brings to their rural world, but I really love getting Cody involved in the action because I find him more fun. I think it's also because I seem to enjoy drawing him more, although getting his ears right under that hat can be a bit tricky.
This lead me to wonder. Which of the kids do you relate best with? I know this thread might quickly become deader than yesterday's roast, but I'm willing to take the chance to see which of the kids the reader's enjoy seeing.
And I guess who they may like to see more of, too. I know myself I'm waiting to bring the three girls and Davey into the picture a bit more with their own little stories.
I think it'd be interesting to find out how these kids relate to you lot out there.
Cheers.

Ooh, neck to neck. Is someone going to break the tie?
Yeah, I thought of voting for Brylcreem, but then I figured I was never the smart encyclopedia-like bookworm, just the kind that hid in the back of the class so I could read a book under my desk
Hmm. Cody and Brylcreem so far. Honestly I didn't really expect Brylcreem to pick one up at least so soon. He hasn't had all that much to do with it so far.
Oh, and I dunno...I reckon it would be fitting to have something like this decided by an invisible nobody!
