I like to drink... that's no surpise to anyone here. Though I behave like a crazy drunkard in IRC. On most occasions I only have a few beers to unwind after a long depressing day of work. I've been reading books on beer and discovering this whole pub-culture and enjoying the different styles of beer and I don't attempt to drink in excess though I've been retardeddrunk many times. For those who don't drink alcohol, there is nothing totally wrong with it, societies have been built around alcohol, and it controls the economy. so drink or don't drink what you want. I'll most likely have a pint or two tonight.

I guess you can add me to the list of non-drinkers....strange as it still sounds to me, as I used to love beer and other ales. I have a broken Esophagus, so drinking simply doesn't work, and causes excessive amounts of pain.

I'm chronicly adicted to caffiene (I get it from my father- he used to drink expressos in a big-ass latte cup).

If I don't have it I get flu-like symptoms.

.....and it stunts your growth ,my parents used to let me drink the dregs of their coffees/teas and I'm 5'0 tall.

For some reason that makes sense looking at your comic.

[random fact] Caffeine affects your body in the same way as cocaine. Just not nearly as severe. The withdrawal can be just as debilatating though... I know a guy who almost went to the ER becuase he stopped drinking 20 cans of Mountain Dew a day.

And while I drink Dew like I breath air I do not reccomend it to developing children. Caffeine impedes your body's ability to use calcium. Lots of the stuff along with not enough calcium can lead to osteoporosis later in life.

Not to mention caffeine can lead to high blood pressure, lack of sleep, and a slew of other crap. It doesn't matter if you sleep the entire night, if you have caffeine in your system it will screws with your REM sleep and you wake up less rested.

I am a coffee addict as well. I can't wake up properly without it. Coffee and forums, that's my wake-up routine.

I drink, but hardly any of my friends does, so I do it very seldom.

Fun fact: on the college I go to, 1/3 of the 40K students are borderline-alcoholic, according to studies. :-?

Well, I don't drink. . . For good reason.

What? Never seen a 15 year old that doesn't want to drink?

getting drunk/stoned is highly overrated I've decided. I had my two years of young adulthood insanity, I think I'll preserve what brain cells I have left.

*edit* which sounds kinda funny considering my avatar....
