Just looked at your comic, TightSight. It's rather amusing. I blew it off at first because of the art, but I'm consistently impressed by the variety of humor. Sort of like a comic versin of WarioWare.

Yeah, I just derailed that thread and started a new page, making my flagrant violation of etiquette painfully obvious.
That's life, I suppose.

Well, if you think of it, Genesis is a beginning. And is that not what Keenspace is about, the creation of new comics? Not all succeed. Many flounder and fail, some die stillborn, and some even stay here forever and ever
(hi Ghastly!) but there are many births here. New worlds. New imaginations. New dreams.
It's rather poetic, if you think of it.
If you don't like PeachyKeen.org, that is.

That's a good point about Phalanx's logos, actually. They don't imply any of that. The planet, really, is far more suited to Keenspace than Comic Genesis. A gass giant has nothing to do with comics or genesis on the face of it.Tangent wrote:Well, if you think of it, Genesis is a beginning. Also, "New Dreams" mightn't be a bad tagline for CG.*

* Oh, dear. We'll all have "CG comics," won't we? That's mildly unfortunate.

I'm not as sure. I'd still like to retain the whole 'space' feeling. And depending on your definition of Genesis, planets or nebulas could be considered the 'beginning.'Joel Fagin wrote:That's a good point about Phalanx's logos, actually. They don't imply any of that. I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. You can force it to mean anything you want for yourself but it won't translate that way for the average viewer. I mean, I could post a big red square and, yes, it could be meant to imply candy, toffee apples and other sugary goodness, but what I'll get when people see it is communism, danger, "stop" and blood.Kirb wrote:I'm not as sure. There are many, many icons you can't really force to be something against their will and a ringed planet... That's space, through and through. Even Lego uses it.*

Looks good to me. Much less confusing, also.
