What this really means is that Kisai now has double the work to do in her limited amount of time. If this drives her to strike too, Keenspace is without an admin and that's a BAD thing.

This is either nothing (everything will be resolved with little or no problems) or it's it's going to start ballooning into something bad very soon.

As someone who's admined for no pay before (technically still doing so... *ime and *elven dropdowns) I know it's a real bitch. It's extremely difficult to make a fix that doesn't break something else, and I've broken every site on *ime in the past few days (yay for people who let you put random javascript on their pages!) and then fixed them again. Working with databases is even more fun, especially since small fixes you've done in the past can screw up your major fixes later.

Since it is patently ridiculous for *spot Entertainment to do anything else at this point other than kowtow, I don't see this situation lasting long. I generally support your decision, Kelly, and I hope an agreement can be reached that is worth your while. I can't imagine they are really asking you to do on such short notice what it seems they are asking, and once they get around to communicating that, hopefully it will chill things out a bit.

It sounds like you still want to help, and that's always been my impression of you, so here is hoping you get what you need in order to do so.

And yes, I know I still owe you that fanart, my comic is behind too. I've been busy admining *ime.

Until communications improve between KeenSpot and myself, I, Kelly Price (aka STrRedWolf) will no longer administer KeenSpace.

This lack of communications has gotten to a head as of recently. As is, I have been working without a promised contract for the past four years, and without pay for the past year. Because of this, the heavy decision to stop all work has been made.

KeenSpot's Teri Crosby has been notified by phone. I have always be able to contact her by phone, and she has been very graceful. She earns the KeenMom name.

KeenSpot's Darren Bleuel has also been notified by phone via voicemail.

The rest of the KeenSpot staff (Chris Crosby and Nate Stone) has been notified by email.

Stalag '99 will continue, although it may be mirrored off KeenSpace.

Sad to see you go.

Just to clear things up a bit: I'm not completely gone. You may say this is a hiatus of my duties as admin -- an unfortunately nessisary one.

To update you: Gav has replied back, and is hesitant in taking over writing the contract for Nate. Thankfully, I archived all the emails I've had from Nate and Gav, including an earlier contract which I have a few objections to, and that they even recommended I didn't sign. A good starting point, no? I'll be working with Gav, but if things go badly, I'll be out for about a week.

Seeing STRredWolf go is a BAD thing. The dude is an administrative god. I was pissed he banned Van....but lets face it, dude asked for it, and continued to ask for it, pretty much most of the time he was here. Van's cool shit, but has a temper.

That's about the only thing I've seen Wolf do that annoyed me. The rest of what he's been doing, is keeping Space running, and doing a damn fine job as well. I find he's around a lot more than Kisai, and if I ever had a problem, I'd probably go to him, since he appears to be around whenever I am. Just the way time constraints work I guess.
