Post your Space Tan art here!
The last thread reached 21 pages so I know John is going to lock it.
Anyways, I finally got the heart to finish a Space-chan wallpaper:

I'd like to make one request of you guys too: if you got the time and will, make some Space-chan drawings. That's cause I kinda feel lonely in my obsession, y'know...

Bloop.wikipedia wrote:-Chan is the informal, intimate, diminutive equivalent of -san, used primarily by children to refer to friends and family members but also applied to siblings, to close friends and lovers, and to children by adults. Though animals (which are seen as inherently inferior to humans) do not require honorifics, pets are frequently referred to using this diminutive as well.

I know that definition. What I mean is... well like XP-Chan, Keen-chan, Firefox-chan, etc.Mercury Hat wrote:Higamigokoro wrote:So... what exactly is a chan?Bloop.wikipedia wrote:-Chan is the informal, intimate, diminutive equivalent of -san, used primarily by children to refer to friends and family members but also applied to siblings, to close friends and lovers, and to children by adults. Where did all this start? Has the japanese suffix come to mean 'feminine avatars of digital things'?

Everyone keeps giving the literal defenitions, when the implied defenition is really what's important.
In a word, yes.Higamigokoro wrote:Has the japanese suffix come to mean 'feminine avatars of digital things'?

Sorry? What for? That kicks ass, Jops!
Anyways, to answer the question: there isn't exaclty an official look for the Space Tan. Everyone just accpeted my design, but feel free to change it if you feel like.
But if you need references, I suppose you can browse my photobucket gallery, there's a few drawings of Space-chan there: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v418/RPin/
WARNING: Not every picture in this account is work safe. Browse on your own volition.
