Have we passed the point as a society that in 3 pages of posts of the grossest shit we can find on the net that Goatse.cx was not even mentioned once. I understand many of us have seen this pic and a few of us have even been desensitized to it through numerous email pranks. about 8 out of 10 of those images I've seen before. A lot.

You'd think we'd all have to go real out of the way to get this kind of stuff, but it's not hard to find.

While it is indeed a creepy pic, it doesn't bother me much, mostly because it's so obviously fake. The one that really bugs me (pun intended) is the one of the man with maggots in his brain; oddly enough, it wasn't until I'd read that it was genuine that it bothered me, as it looks fake.

Once I had nothing better to do than spelunk in the Internet's underbelly looking for the most disgusting and vile picture I could possibly find. Guro, scat, mutiliation, vomit, I saw them all, and kept on looking. Then I went to some obscure Hungarian site and saw that real-life picture of the guy having sex with a rotting human corpse. Maggots, goo and everything.

I stopped looking at that point.

Sadly, the hard drive with the results of my sojourns on it fried itself recently. I can try to salvage it, but you're going to have to use your imagination in the meanwhile.

Edit: I had already seen some corpse-sex art and some suspect morgue necrophilia with fresh bodies, but this was real, which made it hundreds of times more hideous.
