I remember some people saying bigpanda is dead. It's not it was just updated. I hope everyone that submitted is now on the list.------------------

Oh wow... I'm listed at Big Panda now, kewl...Okay could some one explain how to set up the folder? Because I must have gotten it wrong since it hasn't uploaded anything. ------------------

Well, if there was an update, My comics was not part of it.It still has my other URL and has not loaded anything from my Big Panda folder.

Woot! I'm on it too! Finally! But of course mine wouldn't go anywhere as far as yours or great Poe!*grumble mumble*As for me, I'm having problems with the folder too. As far as I can guess, you just upload/create a folder named bigpanda in your /insertcomicnamehere/workspace/ directory. But I'm not sure if its working yet or not.If that doesn't work, try the public folder (which I need to do).-Caster------------------

Man, that would be tricky here, since I don't
know how to create subdirectories on our
sites (anyone know how we can?)You want a subdirectory called bigpanda,
off of your site (http://mysite.keenspace.com).
Then you put files there - icon.txt, icon.gif,
etc., for a bigpanda script to pick up.------------------

Interesting trivia: I didn't notice the part about putting those files in a bigpanda subfolder, so I had just put them in my root folder (public_html or whatever it's called), and Big Panda picked them up from there too! Just in case that changes, I've done it the documented way now...------------------

What's up with BP? Is Bryan getting back involved? I sent an email to Bryan last night because my site never updated from many months ago, and he actually wrote me back for the first time since when I joined at the beginning of the year. Within an hour I might add! He told me he was working on getting everyone a password who had not gotten one, but didn't give me a timetable when it would happen. I'll have to wait for the next update to get my url changed. I had previously given up and taken all references to BP off my site, but there's no doubt many people still use the site, especially the front page.As for the folders, just create a "bigpanda" folder at the same level you have your "images" or any other folder. Use that faq for what's required. Pay attention to the sizes of the icons, I believe they have to exactly match pixel for pixel in order for them to get collected.------------------

I'd made them the correct width, but they weren't perfectly squre (unlike me) and they were a little short. They still got picked up, and were apparently automatically conformed. They look a little distorted, but they work well enough.------------------

As a person in the back pages of BigPanda, I'm pretty pissed off that the people who lead the list don't even acknowledge that they're up there. I beg, beg, BEG people to get me higher on the list. It would help motivate me to draw more, for one thing. I realize that I may not have bigger problems than most people, but I hate to see people more popular than me griping about how they want to be more popular than they already are. I'm greatful for what little I have, I honestly think more fortunate people should have the same attitude......What were we talking about, again?------------------
