Anyone have any good Anime comics?
I'd like to read some.
Try Deity Permit or Saturnalia. Only problems with these is their artists are so good, they spend more time nowadays doing commissions than updating their comics, Still, they're amazing works of art and anime-ness.
Nishichi27 was in the same situation, but seems to have picked up the pace again

Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

After she rejected being Spotted aparently there was a big controversy over it for some reason and she wrote this:
"First, this journal is no longer an update and news journal just for the comic. It'll be about my work in general, so that includes any non-Saturnalia related art and projects. So expect hearing from me more often, and a new layout, if I have time.
Second, I'm going to be straightforward here. I'm tired of all the BS happening in the online art and comic community. Cliques, vindictive rivalries, greed, elitism, ongoing feuds over trivial things, theft, false rumours, and what I'm tired of the most: false accusations, which I seem to be the subject of more often than neccessary. I can't stand it when people accuse me of being something I'm not and doing things I haven't done. I see too many people looking out purely for themselves and tearing others apart when we should be more supportive and understanding of each other. I've tried to fit into the community many times, but my kind of personality just doesn't belong. I've never been the type that fits into any sort of group."
Aparantly things started getting out of hand and she hasn't really updated her comic since. However she still occasionaly posts Saturnalia art so I have high hopes that someday somewhere she might do more. Little would make me happier seing as it was damn near the top of my fav webcomics list. In the meantime I will pray you are right.

* Happy to say that I've been making progress on the script for the next chapter of Sat, and I'll be able to start drawing it soon. Watch out for a February comeback.

* Updated the site with 2 new originals, 1 commissioned pic in a non-anime style, and 1 gift art.
February is a BUSY month for me. I may not be able to take Saturnalia out of hiatus, but I'm going to try my best.

It also clearly says on the front page, "UPDATES MAY RESUME FEB..." Why would she write that if she was dead-set on quittin'?
And...NISHICHI UPDATED? Gosh, and a long time ago, too.

Derenge likes to point out that my style is reminiscant of Dragonball, so there you go anime-influenced.
