***big_calendar*** and css don't like each other

Post by Breakpointcity »

I'm using the ***big_calendar*** tag, but in Mozilla Firefox, the css is being misinterpreted. All the dates are being colored like links, complete with rollover effects. I've looked at the code AutoKeen generates, and it looks like there's an <a> tag surrounding each of the calendar tables. Any idea how to fix this?

Here's a link to my css. Can't seem to pin down the problem.

Also, Is there a big_calendar equivelent to the css_calendar?

It looks fine to me. On my comp, it's only linking the dates with comics.

Well fug... It does this only in Firefox for some reason. (or Mozilla in general. I just love da Fox) I am looking at the code and I can't see anything wrong. It should obviously be correct. It works just fine in Internet explorer... I am confused and enraged!

Try deleting the file then re-uploading it and requesting an update. I have a feeling that wont solve a thing but it's always worth a shot. I'll continue to dink around and see what I can find, but I can't see anything out of place yet. *stratches head in confusion*

(egad I never really looked at the code for a big calendar before... Das' a lot of fricking code!)

[edit] Has it done this before? Or is this a new thing? If it's a new glitch then an update might fix it... (hopefully)

No, my comic used to have that problem too. The only way I could fix it was by changing the CSS effects.

Muahahahahahah! Finally, something Internet Explorer can do that the others can't!

I... I feel so vindicated! XD

Well, deleting and re-uploading didn't do the trick. No idea what to change with the css. If I get rid of the rollover, it still colors all the dates the same as links.

I think there might have been a new tag created **css_calendar*** or something like that that might have been the solution to this problem. I've never used it myself, so I can't say anything about it. Do a search of the forums and you might find something.

That's what I was talking about. CSS calendar is only for one month. Is there an equivelent for the big calendar?

EDIT: Problem solved: viewtopic.php?p=785544
