EWM seeks Mindflayer for harmless fun
I'm getting ready to sculpt a lifesized bust of a mindflayer from D&D for my sculpture class. I'm doing research, but good images are coming up short via google and yahoo. If anyone knows of a few they could point me toward I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm reading http://www.dndorks.com right now, and the earlier strips at least have a player as a mindflayer. The pics aren't bad, so try that out?

Actually, Ethan's character is only part mindflayer, if I remember correctly.
Anyway . . . well, what exactly are you looking for in an illithid picture? I tried searching Google myself and found several excellent pictures . . .

I'm actually planning on having one of my groups go up against one here soon . . . and he may be an undead flayer, too, which'll make him extra nasty . . . 8)cjburgandy wrote:those things are nasty... I'm so glad my DM has never pitted us against one

Only because you haven't gone against me or Ryan.Jim North wrote: I win the geek prize every time.![]()
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
For once, I'm glad to be a wannabe.

I've done worse. I've built up my players to believe in the power of psionics, because they are nearly the only ones in the game with them. Now, they're headed toward the pit of the world, where garbage from the five kingdoms is shipped to be disposed of.Jim North wrote:Don't be silly.

There, they will meet up with my world's version of a mind flayer.
Take a mind flayer, cross it with a tinker gnome, and put a hive of them in an entire island of garbage.
