I might be a little late to the party with this, but some people have already found a ton of these.

Superman is a dick.

That was pre-Golden Age, back in the wild and wooly 30's, where it was pretty much de rigeur for heroes to tote guns. He used to throw people off buildings, too. He stopped offing baddies when Robin was introduced.
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

Was that pre? I didn't think there was a time considered pre-Golden Age, but eh . . . live and learn.

Maybe I'm wrong...what IS actually considered to be the Golden Age of American comic books?

I'm sure I saw a Xena episode to that effect.. It had more naked dancing girls in it than that issue of Superman, though. Probably.

The Golden Age lasted from about 1938 to 1951, starting with the debut of Superman in Action Comics #1. Or so Wikipedia tells me...

The melting point of lead is 327 degrees Centigrade (620 or so farenheight). Jimmy's flame breath is "2000 times more powerful" than Superman's eye lasers.

This means superman's eye lasers have the ability to warm the lead only 1/5th of a degree! Some eye laser - even a laser pointer will eventually do that.

But no, Jimmy's breath is 2000 times more powerful than Superman's x-ray vision. Well duh. Even my breath is more powerful than his x-ray vision.

on a side note there was this great line from Green Arrow where Ollie's talking to Mia(fifteen year old girl who wants to be the new speedy) and goes somthing like...

mia: "and roy was like fourty when you made him speedy"
GA: "well those times were diffrent. back then all you had to worry about was being put in some exagerated deathtrap, like tied to the keys of a gigantic type writer. or handcuffed to the gears of gigantic golden clock."
MIA: "a golden clock?"
GA: "ask batman about it sometime."
