Icebreaker as Bikeeni Summer Spoof
Rock the casbah! I'm so in! Screw the uber-crossover. Besides, I gearing up for a crossover with another comic anyway... well, I think I'll go work on my Ice Breaker comic now.
------------------

I agree that we should just make the spoof of Bikeeni Summer (for now). Making pin-ups of our characters in winter clothes is much faster and easier to do, since there doesn't have to be tons of collaboration. We should save the huge cross-over until a majority of the Keenspace comics have been around longer than 3 months or so. Comics that want to can still make their Pulp Fiction and/or Winter event, but it should be due a lot later than the Icebreaker Winter Pin-up event.
How about we make the Keenspace Icebreaker spoof that features winter clothing due August 1st? Two weeks days should be enough time to make pin-ups and get them on a website that links back to the comics where they originate.
------------------

We're making them make their own pin-up pages? I thought they'd just submit their pin-ups with any additional text they'd like to include, and then we'd handle it. It seems like that'd be easier for a file management point-of-view. Whatever works!
------------------

Since Sandy and John T are making all the HTML, I think they should collect the images instead of me (unless they don't want to). I'll make my contribution some time next week.
We should have the Ice Breaker 2000 page up on August 1st with whatever images are submitted before that day, and latecomers can send their images and HTML throughout the month of August.
------------------

I like how this is turning out. But one query: will they all be winter clad? Because I got a beach pin-up, and I'd hate for it to go to waste. Oh and by the way, I'M the one who came up with this 'crud'. Or at least came up with the first idea.
------------------

this sounds like a much more reasonable approach and truer to what the original idea was. count me in on the pin-ups. so what's the timetable and who is gonna be "The Collector" muhahahahahah!
------------------

Well, being the take charge kind of guy I am (HA!), I spruced up the Ice Breaker temp page a little. Everything up there is only temporary, you know, until we get images and everything is officially set up. I just thought it'd be nice to see what it could look like once we've got everything running. So check it out at http://www.sporkman.com/icebreaker.html and let me know what you think!
------------------

Hey, good job with the design, Sandy! We should make an ad banner spoof that reads "Dozens of Freezin' Cold Pin Ups" after showing the people in their parkas and thick jackets. I'm no good with ad banners, though, especially not animated ones.
Jesse, I can gather and keep track of the winter pin-ups as they are created, if no one else wants to. My E-Mail's at rpv@usa.com. I'll contact Chris Crosby to see what he thinks of the spoof idea.

------------------

Hey, there everyone. First things first - August 1st is the official start date, so I'd prefer to have all yer pin-ups and text by July 31st. Of course, I'll still add stuff after that, but we might want more than three pin-ups to start out with. Secondly - you might be questioning the phrase "official start date". Well, question no longer, because today I gots me an e-mail from Gav - THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!
------------------
