I just read through the archives and I was blown away by the panel where the truck gets the girl. I said, "Woah!" and, while I understand this is lame, I said it OUT LOUD. Movies don't do that kind of thing anymore.
In hindsight I feel stupid. She just told her life story but...
Thanks for the super moment!
------------------
Tired of my constant plugging refrain NERDZ?
It's going to get worse before it gets better...

I just got through what was probably the busiest time of my life. Seriously.
But I'm pretty proud I did it without missing an update.
It's funny trying to do a "near future" story. The technology will quickly outpace your own imagination. I had that super quiet truck being a hybrid of natural gas and electricity. Meanwhile, it looks like the engine of the future may be hydrogen!
Oh well, I can always go back and edit the archives!

My comic project hasn't really come along...and I wonder if it'll ever be a comic. I'll do something with my ideas, someday. I'm in no hurry.
On a different subject, last Thursday's comic was...strangely chilling. "I wonder how many murders have never been caught because they've been killed." Odd Jobs has always had a subtle strength like that.

I had fusion powered motorcycles in Wandering Ones, and the debate grew into the actual feasability of such a thing. I found that my readers are a lot smarter on such things than I am. Maybe I should just stick with tracking and wildlife.
Odd Jobs has really gotten suspenseful in these last several weeks. There's even the angst ridden scene of the girl dying (in the best traditions of John D. MacDonald). A lot more powerful than if she called from off screen, "ow! That mean guy hit me!" and then everything was peachy keen.
How will this affect David in the future?
------------------
