Sort of a pitch...

Post by Godoftarot »

This is sort of a pitch, sort of. I'd really like for people with comics to link to my comic (cause the ways of advertising have slimmed). But I figure, nothing for free, right? So I'll do a fan art in return. I know I'm not fantastic, but I like to think I'm pretty decent. And of course if I ever get my butt in gear on a links list, I'll link back.

Sounds like a good idea, at least, it's gotta be worth a try. Unfortunately I think that linking to your comic wouldn't make sense because it is so far different to the style and content of ours.

But, good luck, it sounds like a really good idea. I hope people with comics with more in common with yours read this thread and jump on board!

One suggestion - pink is a pretty color but it is not for text.

I didn't pick the color, it picked itself. No, seriously, I know that makes no sense whatsoever, but it's true.

Is that kinda like how Dick Cheney was assigned to find a running mate for Dubya and chose himself?

I'd love some art from you, I can put a link to your site on my mainpage which will be cycled out slowly in about 3 weeks and you'll get a permanant link in my Guest Art Gallery and another permanant link on my links page.

Your comic is pretty interesting I like your art and your story is pretty cool so far. :D

I might considering trading links once I get a links page going...

...but no need for fan art or guest strips or anything like that. I'd like to keep all the art on my site my own.

Y'know, when I first glance at this thread title, I swear I though it said "son of a pitch." It cracked me up until I realized the joke was all in my head.

"Forced"? What's this "forced" crap? You know, it's very good practice for me to draw other people's characters. I see that now. It feels awkward o.o

i didnt mean the "forced" stuff in a negative way.

i just think theres a difference between fan art you get, well, form a fan and fan art you get out of a deal.

Alright...I'll bite.

I have to warn you though, It might take a little while. I lost my copies of all my pages and I don't trust this computer to handle HTML well. I'm rebuilding my website from scratch and trying to do a good job on it.

You don't have to give me fan art until after I've got those pages back up.

(and I WILL promise that link...you're going into my list of pages to link to so that I'll remember.)
