gah - i wasn't sure whether to put this here or in GD... but went for here.

some of you may have heard of loxie & zoot - keenspace's #1 nudist comic!!! (well, probably keenspace's only nudist comic... but anyway, that still makes it #1!

). anyhoo...

the first week of august marks a number of birthdays for loxie & zoot - one year at keenspace, four years since loxieandzoot.com started and seven years since their first appearance in print! (woohoo!)

i'd like to have a bit of a celebration so if you have nature luvin' cartoon characters of your own... why not have them help loxie, zoot and the other koala bay bares celebrate in true nudist style - in their birthday suits!! so i'm hoping some of you might:
a) draw your own pic/toon - i'm not after 'fan-service' (also nothing sexual or violent or insulting) and your pics can be as 'modest' as you feel comfortable drawing. it can be a single pic or even a short story... just have lots of fun with it!;
and/or
b) give me permission to draw some of your characters into a big pool-side party pic! let me know which characters and how modest they want to be (eg if they're really modest... they'll be in the pool so nothing can be seen, if they're a bit modest they'll be sitting at the the poolside, if they're not modest at all then full-frontal birthday suitness will be the order of the day!

all manner of cartoon character invited... human, alien, furry, stickpeople, extra-dimensional, pixel, you name it!

whichever... it would be great to have your characters pay a visit to the koala bay bares (although 'option a' is actually work for you... think of it as a birthday present). please email to 'toons @ loxieandzoot.com' by july 30. rsvp for the poolside party by july 26. let me know the url and name of your comic so i can include it in the celebration guest list!

remember... nood ain't rood... at least, not over at loxie & zoot!

Anyhoo, I was wondering if someone would be allowed to do both of the options - if we could send in something to you as well as having a nice cameo in your picture thing?

A lot of my characters (non-humans) already don't wear clothes, so there's not much point in doing a 'special' nudie pic.

Still, if I can come up with something, I will...

If you want to use any or all of my three main human characters (as seen on my strip's "cast" page) for the pool party, that's fine. Sylvester would probably be hiding in the pool, Mortimer would be out cavorting around freely and without shame, and Rosemary... somewhere in between. If you do use Rosemary, I'd only ask that she keeps her helmet on.

no worries, you can draw some of my chracters nude. (CJ though, always has something over her breasts/nipple area)

Pimpette would be pleased to attend your birthday party, and if you're looking for lots of extras, she can bring the whole crew along with her.

Most of my characters have no modesty, being "male escorts" as they are, with two exceptions:

Pimpette - usually guarded by a jealous Turkish
Glowing Member - if he's turned on, his member... um... glows. He's nervous this might happen in public.

Xmung.. you are more than welcome to draw any of the employees of Decypher Naked. though I've actually never decided if Stryker actually has all the "parts" like a real person would. he is after all just a robot. but I also was never going to approach that.

so if ya wanna use any of em be my guest. could also post em as fan art for my own one year birthday coming up.

Cool idea, xmung *g* and I'd love to see some of my characters in your comic. All guys won't mind to be naked - Thoshan, Sevenor and Venlat have no prob with that.
The only one hating to be naked is Isahn *smiles* maybe you can use her als straight anti-nudist one .. ^^

Only use IftP characters at poolside. JAX might not like his Sunday characters there. Basically the list (They all have no genitalia to be seen anyway, so be modest.):

Okie dokie, xmung, I've got your present here., and I'll email it to you too! It's Trudy, a now-deceased ex-girlfriend of a demented soldier from my comic, and she's all girlied up!

Now mind, most of my characters are pretty modest about themselves. Trudy is one of them. You can draw Frank the Angry Soldier sitting by the pool if you like, and Angelina Guttersnipe is pretty egegrious, so I don't think she'd mind if you let her prance around naked or something. Let's see... the Hillbillies Jim and Billy-Bob, being such, probably would not mind standing around in the nude, though I probably wouldn't draw them naked... they'd look positively hideous.

All the other characters would probably be sitting in the pool, due to their general fear of the sun. Yes. FEAR.

Again, congrats to L&Z!

EDIT: If you want to draw Molotov, you'll need to draw him in his gas-mask, for nobody (not even I) knows what he looks like underneath. Nobody.
