I bit the bullett and bought a new scanner tonight--a Microtek ScanMaker 3750i.<P>It promises to bring an end to all my woes regarding scanned images.<P>You want I should bring it wit' me when I come up dere Saturday? Or not? It was only like a hundred dollars, and if it will allow you to scan drawred pitchurs in for your strip, well then, Mebbe yer in business. Not that I'm gonna give you MINE, you retard, but at least you'll know you can get one too, ancd probably cheaper, up there.)<P>(You have to realize; I'm listening to the "O Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack right now, so cut me a great deal of slack, eh.)<P>Let me know iffen you want me to brang it.

Nah, don't bother bringing your scanner. I have to give you your old scanner back, and what fun is lugging TWO scanners back to Cali?

For the record, I think drawing on the computer may actually be easier -- I tried drawing by hand, and it was rough. To say the least.

I loved the movie. Enjoyed it more than any movie I've seen lately; it was loopy and quirky and very, very funny. The soundtrack is excellent; one of those things that is kinda weird at first but then its appeal grows as you listen to it more.<P>About the scanners: I'm probably bringing the new one anyhow so Steve can use it, but thanks for your concern about lugging 2 scanners back home. Do you know anyone else who could use the Mustek and wants to come over to your place to get it? It's of no use to me, and I'm all for The United Order as it applies to electronic gadgets I've already replaced with something I can use. So you now have the burden of disposing of both yours and mine, MWAH HA HA HA HA HA. I want the green bag back though, even if nobody has come forth to claim the scanner before I leave Utah. <P>Drawring is hard, Pookie. That's why it's best left to the Professionals, like ...uhhh...Howard. **tee hee** <P>You're not that bad at pen-and-paper stuff, though. I still think it has more possibilities for your comics than what you do now, but what do I know? I ain't no perfessional.
