Carnivore, Herbivore, or Omnivore?

Maria likes... well... just about everything. Michelle (far pickier) is an omnivore with strong herbiavore tendencies.

I had a flu thing that lasted about a month and I couldn't drink any milk, then I fell out of habit. Yeah. I think meat is gross.

As long as it tastes good and treated somewhat humanely (i.e. not veal) I'll eat it. Just about anything prepared right is tasty, so I'll eat about anything. Omnivore straight up.

You know, I believe animals have absolutely no rights whatsoever. And I have eaten from just about every mammal it's legal to eat from in the US. But I won't eat veal either.

Every few months I try to be a vegetarian, but I just can't live without chicken wings or a steak burrito.

Mainly I eat fish and veggies. Ew.

Mmm.... Meat.... I qualify as carnivore though the wife is trying to get me to eat more veggies. Mmm, red meat is best rare. Keeps all the flavor that way. /(^v^)\ I wish they sold mutton in the grocery stores. I love the taste of sheep, and lamb I feel bad about... Never tasted meat I didn't like, though. However, sometimes shrimp doesn't like me...

I won't eat veal, and as my spiritual tendencies are a bit unorthodox in place of prayer I thank the spirit of the animal for giving it's life so I can live. I don't waste a scrap neither. I have a predatory nature, so while I sympathize with the vegans... I just can't do it. Must have meat.

If it's properly spiced and cooked right, you don't -need- the steak sauce. And if you soak it overnight in hot sauce and diet coke, it'll be sooooooo tender.

I'd try that, but the wife doesn't have the appreciation for spicy food that I do. And I hate Diet Coke, I'd have to use the real stuff.

Well... almost every meal I eat has either meat or cheese. Combined with lots and lots of potatoes/noodles/bread. I actually make sure the meat is less than 50%.

So I dunno. Omnivore with carnivore tendencies? Just omnivore? Just carnivore (whereas the vegetable stuff is more than 50% of my diet, I still consider the meat the most important ingredient)
Or carbo-hydrato-vore.

Your wife is wrong, I'm sorry. But, she's like my fiance'. No appreciation for spicy-ness. When you come up for the cookout, I'll make yours extra spicy.

The Diet Coke is required - it is more acidic than regular coke, it doesn't taint the flavor of the sauces, and it doesn't leave a lingering "sweetness" in the meat. Soak a steak overnight in diet coke, A1, olive oil, salt, pepper, homemade BBQ and hot sauce, and add butter to it when grilling, and the thing will melt in your mouth when you eat it.

i'm gonna push it a lil further and say i'm a caffinevore (or caffine whore?)
coffee is #1, coke is good - but i'll pass it up if there's a mountain dew about...

with food though - i've noticed i'm slowly getting pickier and pickier about what i eat - phasing foods out gradually. i think i'm gonna get to the point where i'm just eating chicken and vitamin pills to stay alive.
