Characters in the Strip based on Real Life ;P

Did you ever give teh answers? Cause I'm still very curious about it ;P

OK, i have permission to tell all. <P>You already know Arno is based on Arno, a friend of Angie. He makes fun of Angie's anthrowolf character and has a pet bird. He's also a great guy and don't let his teasing of Angie make you think they don't get along, they act like siblings. *L*<P>Robert is based on Robert. No, really. *L* He actually posted in here once way back in the early days when we only had one topic. The leopard is one of Rob's RP character's, and yes, he's fixated on catnip. *L*<P>Jason is based on Jason, loosly. *L* Named after him, at least. He's another of Angie's close friends from our other universe. Most of us are members of an online clan together. I have no idea if he likes horror movies. <P>Brem you already know is based on Bremusa, who posts here when I can nag her to do it. *L* She really IS that hyper, and has a pet Squirrel named Baby. She has also been known to chew on people in chat rooms. o.O<P>Logan is named after Angie's cousin, who posted in the guest book and suggested a fox character. So when the time came for a fox, the name fit. <P>Tucker is based on Angie's "...grandmother's (deceased) cat that I really loved to death. Tucker helped me out when I was majorly depressed the summer I moved."<P>And the 7th is Kess. Last and well, least if you count appearances. But not least in posts to the MB! Yes, that's right, Kess is me. Well, named after my RP character Kessalia. And i hate to think her threatening Duke this last week was probably inspired by me, too, I tend to be protective of my friends and online family. <P>
So, there you go. All the character so far that are based on RL characters. Some are more loosly based than others, and all are Angie being a really nice cool person and flattering us more than we deserve. We're not worthy!! As far as I know, all of us have figured out that the characters are ANGIE'S and if the one named for us does somethign we don't like we get to just deal with it and enjoy. <P>Hmm. Not sure some of the guys will agree with that statement, a couple of them have egos. Who wouldn't be flattered to be in Angie's comic? Even if they did have an ego? With her artistic and storytelling abilities, she'd easily do them justice ... and probably improve on their original personalities too. Hrm ... maybe that's the part they don't like, I guess some people are far too vain. ;><P>I have a few questions too. What's this online clan? Also, are there any more of those 'clan-based-comics'? I only saw the one that was posted here and that was groovy, I'm greedy, I wanna see more! Mainly because I'm a fur fan and I think Ang draws anthros very, very, very well indeed.<P>Finally, to those that aren't in DK yet, here's an interesting question - if you were in Dakota's Ridge, what do you think your character would be like? This probably should've been started in another topic but I think it goes along nicely as a continuation of this one so I'll keep it here. I'm curious to see how people would think of themselves as cartoons and / or animals.

Ooh, pics of the clan? I wanna see! I hope you find that link soon. If it has anything to do with Gargoyles though (visually) it has to be cool (though the mutates and the English Gargoyles were more fun than Goliath's clan, Griff was just so ... right ;>).<P>As for the animal one, it's an interesting question isn't it? I've asked that to many furry types and they just can't answer it. It may be because they want a quick er [censored - PG board after all] or because they simply think that animal is handsome but very few actually have examined their own personality in length to see who they really identify with.<P>That's what my is based on. My stalwart endurance (or 'just too damned stupid / stubborn to give up') and loyalty are my reasons. I hate big crowds too (I tend to feel lost in them) and I can get slightly territorial so the Wolf was kind of an eye opener for me when I learned about them.<P>So that's always an interesting question to ask just to see what people will base their opinions off of. ;>
