Just wait a couple of minutes.

BTW, do not REFRESH the page. if you refresh you basically resubmit your update request, which adds you to the queque, (OR moves you to the end if you were already waiting!), and then and then it displays:"your site is added to queque, and waiting to update", because it is.

If you want to check do this: go back to main page, and then click on manual update. It will not add you to the queque, but it will display your status.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Anywho, when I looked up my site in the guide, (under S for smac) on number 320, it says error in output.

In the signup form, I put my country as BAHAMAS, and the area code as 242, which it has been for 5+ years. I got back: "Area Code Invalid".

And Country:THE BAHAMAS came back as "country invalid". Basically, I can't sign up at all.

Country name is "BAHAMAS"
phone number format is 1 (242) xxx xxxx

Please make sure you entered the country as BAHAMAS, with 1 as the country code and 242 as the area code, or it will not work.

Things are crazy!

Postby PWillCo-Pres on Thu Apr 15, 2004 2:52 pm

Aujourd'hui est jeudi!

Um...so... when I click 'verify' on the Keenspace comic registration thing, it loads for a little bit (my computer is old and slow), then takes me right back to the Keenspace comic registration thing. Maybe it's gone crazy, maybe it's just Rupert (Rupert would be my laptop).

Anyway, I'd be muchly obliged if you could explain this or fix it or...anything. Yes. Merci beaucoup in advance.

If you get the form back, check for errors on the TOP of the form in black text, it will tell you what is wrong..

I was wondering if I could still pay Keenspace so there's no advertising. Maybe i'm wrong but I thought id seen something on this when I started here almost 2 years ago. Its not the advertising that bothers me as id like to beable to use my image file for holding images I can use in other type of forums like I used to ( didnt realize I wasnt suppose to) Id be willing to pay a yearly fee for this. You can even keep the advertising on my site. :D
Thankyou for your time.

That would be KeenPRIME, and I don't know if it's still running.

No, nobody is allowed to remote-link/hot-link ANY images... The amount of bandwidth consumed by off-site linking was rediculas, and was cut off in 2003.

Postby Anasazi on Wed Apr 21, 2004 6:32 pm

Hmm . . . I've been trying for a few hours to sign-up, but I just keep getting an error - the internal server error, to be specific.

did you get an e-mail with the PASSWORD yet? Have you tried resetting the password at http://siteadmin.keenspace.com/cgi-bin/ ... ssword.cgi ?

Make sure you CLOSE ALL WEB BROWSERS after you verify the password.

I am sorry if this question has been asked before, but I find this a bit weird,

I signed up and checked the status (username: starbooze) , and it said
"Signup found, status: Signup email sent, waiting activation or purge"

I assume this status means that it has sent an email to my email (which is yahoo) sucessfully, but I have yet to receive the email. I even checked the bulkmail, but didn't find any.

I wonder if the activation email being sent instantly (after signed up) or we should wait for certain hours/days?

Thank you for the answers.
