Guest apperances...

One of the things I really want to do in my webcomic, is have guest apperances from other strips to show up in my strip as customers. It might seems sort of strange... but no one ever said decypher was exactly normal. ^_^

these guest shots could be concidered fan art, and they can also be used as guest strips, if people want to. but I'd love to see if anyone would be interested in having characters from thier strips showing up in The Grind (the coffee shop that Decypher centers around)

So if your interested tell me character/characters you'd like to show up, and give me the URL to your strip.

I can't speak for Cricket (aka...Chuck), but you can use any of the characters from my strip (Vapor Lock)....click the link below...my strip runs Tuesday/Thursday. Cal (black pointy hair) and Travis (blonde guy...recently took over as Death) are the main two, but any of the others are fine.

I'm in the middle of a sort of plot crisis thing at the moment, but I'd be interested in a small crossover if you ever happened to want one.

I don't know how appropriate a visit from any of my characters would be; most of them aren't even human, and they all live in a fairy-tale kingdom. (Well, sort of... there's no king...) But if any of them strike your fancy, feel free to have them stop by.

If I had to pick one, I'd go with Comshaw the Gnoll, who first appears in this strip:

NM... exellent. I'm planning on doing some visits in the this and the next storyline. as soon as I introduce the new character. I'll look over your archives and pick a Character and PM you the details.

Yeah I can see a cross over in the future. Possibly after I finish up introducing the two new employees I'm gonna be doing a few plots before I introduce the last member of the crew I originally planned a still unnamed girl who moonlights as a super hero. As for the cameo, is there anyone in particular you want? the main character or whomever. I'm not picky. just gonna be some fun. ^_^

Non-human matters not. some of the "regulars" I'll be showing off are far from human. Not to mention I have android, and a shape shifter planned for crew and monika's secretly an alien... I haven't introduced the "secrets" of all my characters, but one design is that every character is special. its supposed to be adding to the fictional side of things.

Comshaw the Gnoll sounds good to me.

now I need to get to plotting *grin* thanks for the donations so far all. and I'll be glad to have as many as people want to send. Can't promise all of them to be instant as my comics weekly. but they will all be drawn in. I think after the current storyline I'll do a whole story with various customers.

I'll keep all three of you updated for tentive dates for all the guest apperances.

they don't appear to have names yet but the spikey headed one has promise. heh its only four panels not like I have to worry to much about deep characterazation. less your character gets a remixed version. but I could use one. ^_^

Spooky Kid- larper nerd with spiky hair
Is Currently Drunk- guy in frat house shirt
Prudence- feminist with the gray turtleneck
Xchange- Attention whore girl from some unknown exotic country
Hair- Hair metal child of the 80's

Um.. probably Pimpette&Turkish, I guess. It doesn't matter, really - if you've got a situation in mind and someone fits it perfectly, go right ahead

If'n you want, feel free to use any of my characters. The main characters (Simon, the guy with the exclamation mark on his shirt, and Jerome, the one with the spikey hair and diagonally-stripped shirt) could probably do with some screentime. I've been neglecting them lately.

ooh more responces... and its errie cause I just put my tablet away from doing the first one. woohoo...

just gonna say, that they won't all be happing really soon. as I actually plot my storylines in advance. and I'll be adding guest star/cameo strips between the planned ones, when I can fit them in. I do hope thats okay.

yeah they do. the first storyline your comic had was basically sitting in the bar. and actually *scratches head* yeah I got an idea of a joke to do with Asarea. as one of the story lines that I'll be messing with later in the strip is Stryker(who'll be appearing in about two weeks I think...) and Monika's exodus from her home planet. so I can throw in somthing along those lines... and just play it off as a joke and forshadow. jUst need to think about it some. and yeah I read your comic semi regularly. Its very good.

Feel free to steal any character you want to from my comic. Both of my main characters are underage, they couldn't possibly be in a bar. It would set a bad example for the children, please think of the children!

Wow, I totally missed this thread. Feel free to use any of my characters you want, I've got some robots and people and stuff you can steal if you need to. My comic is here, I've got a characters page and everything... I guess my main recommendation would be that you steal Jeff, the detective fellow, 'cuz he's the kind of guy that drinks, you know... a lot.

The Grind is a coffee a shop, they don't even have a liquior Liscence or nothing. ^_^ so nothing to worry about with underage characters.

oh the fun I can have with Jeff. I got a list going on. And I'll continue to update people with when the characters are schedualed to appear.

you are more than welcome to cameo Raventhorn, Gabby or Khalid from Prilian Legends ... there's not a whole lot up yet for background, though I've tried to get them characterized as quickly as possible. Some good images of Raventhorn (aka Daniel) and Gabby are already up and Khalid will be seen very shortly (like really good ones in the next week)

feel free to use them or not, your call.

Um, sure, you can use any of characters from mcDuffies (link in sig) if you figure out a place for them.
There's a fairly good cast page if you wanna avoid reading 2.5 years worth comic strips.
