Now that the site is going along nicely. (And I've even set up a forum for the comic thanks to ezboards: http://pub124.ezboard.com/blivewirelatte ) I can go on to promote the comic. Any suggestions on how I can do that?

Thanks in advance.

Wait till you get about 20 comics done before you promote! If you do it too early, people will see you got nothing, then probably never come back. But once you do that, guest comics are a pretty good way. Oh yeah, and put porn in your title! That seems to work good. Maybe dropdowns, but I'm not sure how good they work.

Well, I already made a couple dropdowns, but they're new and one of them won't count because it connects Livewire Latte to my home site. Waiting til 20 comics are done is a very practical plan where I stand, and I hope you don't mind cheesecake instead of p0rn.

Also, I can easily make a guest comic or two, with my first one being a "how NOT to make a comic," just out of spite :D.

ha, you guys are funny. ^__^

Fan art is a good way to promote your comic. If people see art they like, they generally head on over for a better look. Try doing fanart for sites that link properly (some artists have big heads and won't link back to you even if you do them a swanky fan art) and for sites that get a lot of traffic (like, say, keenspot sites) That way you'll get more trickle down.

Another good way is to find some sites with average readership and start a link/guest strip exchange to share readers.

or, look for a comic community to join... like, oh, say http://www.brainstormlimited.com

heh.

Or replying to them. You don't even need to be that helpful. :P
