Nice picture, but I have a few comments... The bottom half of the legs seem quite short compared to the top half; that might just be a style-thing though. Also, I believe she could use a little bit of slenderizing around the wrists and possibly around the elbows. I epsecially like the head and the feet... Being able to draw feet that well is a rare gift. :P

I drew this on file paper and a blue ball point pen during a boring lecture ^_^ I have massive art supplies! I also won the award in school for "Person not able to draw in any style not resembling some sort of manga." I don't know if I should take that as an insult -_-;;

actually that's the first time I tried drawing feet, so it's just my beginners luck.

And here I was thinking there was no such thing as beginner's luck when it came to drawing. :-? Damn you, YarpsDat.

:wink: I'm damned.
and I'm propably the only case :wink:

(and I'm already afraid of the nightmare my second attempt to draw feet turns into)

A head is suppose to fit approx 7 times into a body length o_O ooooooOOOOOOooooooo the things you learn in art class ^_^
Actually, it's 2 to 7 heads, mattering on how "cartoony" it should look.

bad simon, very bad,
now go and bury it, maybe then you'll learn not to kill threads!

and I say your drawing looks ok, but it's a bit messy, and I don't know whether it's poorly erased pencil or a shadow, and that's disturbing.
and the shading looks weird,
I don think it should look like this
////||||||
----##\\\\
----\\\///
---\\---//

if you know what I mean
(well, I don't but I post it anyway)

Needs hips, thinner wrists, and longer legs. I was actually going to say this before but I got d/c as I was typing and just gave up instead :D

and I guess the reason is that terrible dark stripe on the left?
looks like it's from a note book, and that part of the page wasn't pressed to the scanner surface.
you can compensate things like that with a bit of gradient,- just spray white over that (on a separate layer of course), and it should look ok.

. . .poorly erased pencil. This is from a sketchbook I've been trying to keep alive since . . .Oh, about July. (I'm horribly cheap when it comes to buying things for myself.)
That's nothing. I've had this one little sketchbook since about 2 years ago, and I still use it whenever I need to make a tiny sketch or something.

I will say it was nice getting a bigger one awhile back, though.

Levels should take care of that too.

Levels? is that something like a simplified version of curves?

I see an obvious win/win situation here: send me fan art! I'll post it on the site, you can reference the pic in here, and we'll both be better off . . . I think.
