Krakow, ya ever been to Taiwan before? Know anybody there? I don't know much about the rave scene over there, but I do know of a few places you'd like, wondering if you've ever been to any of them.

Anyone been to China recently? I last went there when I was in Grade 7 and that was to see my relatives. It was fun (but really really unclean). I got to scale the Great Wall of China! Well, only a little bit of it. It seemed to keep on goin and going and going and going ....

So many things I'd change in China if I were dictator - er, I mean ... whoever runs the Communist party.

I really hate you. I have never been to China and I so want to go. A lot of people in my family have been there. So when I get older and have more money, I'm going for vacation.

These are the best kind! *chews* Yummy! ^_^

My fiancee is asian, and every year around this time, he gets buttloads of cash in the red envelopes. I swear he gets at least $200 every year! (Big family!)
Yeah, that was the great thing about living in Japan.

Happy New Year, don't forget you're all one year older. They're gonna start playing those weird new year pageants on the TV all around the clock now, have fun pretending to laugh along with the folks when you really have no idea what the hell they're saying on TV. :)

feel free to boof this pic

Strange... why was I talking to Krakow about raves? Must have forgotten to eat enough sugar...

But anyway... About raves in Taiwan... I never looked into the rave scene, though I'm quite sure its there. Nightlife in general is intense there, even a side street is livelier than Times Square (best of all, they haven't been "cleaned up" the way Times Square has), and there's certainly no shortage of neon lighting.

You absolutely must go to a night market, those are lots of fun.

Two questions: Is this the year of the Sheep?

And if so, may I (being of Western European and slightly Canadian descent) still celebrate because my last name's Shepherd?

Whatever. *goes off to party nonetheless*
