I suppose. My site goes off an on, and I can upload new comics and such, but my members area is dead. This means I can't make updates, nor can I debut the long-awaited (to the readers of my site, anyway) Politcal! section, which is basically rants of a friend of mine.

But bleh. What can we do?

Send them an e-mail. I did and got my site the next day.

Besides, they most likely won't add on sites until all the current ones are all transferred and ready to go. My friend signed up in early-November and it's almost been 3-months for him, and my second site has waited 2 and a half months. But they should be done soon so you've got nothing to worry about.

Also, if you you're getting impatient, why don't you post some of your comics up here?

Well i signed up around october of last year before they started doing the server thing. And ive emailed help@keenspace.com and only got the responses with the ticket numbers. I would post comics up here if i could. I had a geocities site a couple of days ago. i tried to put up pictures that i had on it here, but it was being evil or what ever was the case so i got rid of it. the thing about the new accounts is they said they added the new ones in an email from the yahoo group. But then theres all this. and... okay i've just confused myself. *sigh* where do i email.

To really know if your site was saved, ftp to ftp://66.111.56.30 and login with your user name and id. Or, go to http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml ... emid=45784 to see the list of sites that died. (I know, it says they were saved, and at the bottom it says they died. Well, they died.
Ya know, it really sucks that they saved the site I actually had backups for, but lost PSc. *sigh* 50 pages of html, here I come. (Unless the plea in my <a href="http://toritsukinohitsuyou.blogspot.com">blog</a> is answered, or the lost accounts are able to be restored from backups. *sigh* *cries*

Oh, and what I meant by "big comics" was amount of files in the site directory, not how popular it was. ^_^

I did it! I passed through the black hole of Keenspace's death and came out on the other side. All files intact. Hopefully my comic will update on its own at Midnight tonight because I can't access the members area to update manually but I'm just happy to be alive.

Are Razi and I the only ones who made it through the purges completely unscathed? In fact am I the only person who has never suffered any serious issues with keenspace since I joined (even my account was promptly created and given to me without issue)?

Has Keenspace's automation systems been transfered to the new server or just the account files? If just the account files it could be awhile before the pages update automatically. I might have to just build a manual update page and upload it myself.
