Can I offer a little constructive criticism, as well as voting for number 2?

The thick, sharp black lines you use don't really match the shading. It makes the pictures look really amatuerish. Perhaps if you used a thinner, softer tip, it would work a little better. ;)

2 all the way. And did you do the hair highlights? Mine always come out looking too rounded.

The only reason the lines are thick is 'cause I drew it too small and had to enlarge it >,< ::runs and hides::

Er, I meant how did you do the hair highlights? I've been using the normal paintbrush in screen mode to make the colour lighter, but the shape doesn't have the hard points to it that I'd like.

I like three. It's very surreal and soothing, though it needs falling leaves/snow/cherry blossoms to give it the right look.
Two hotdogs are cooking on a barbecue one day, and the first hotdog turns to the other and says, "Boy, it sure is hot in here," and the other hotdog responds, "Whoah! A talking hotdog!"

I am thinking number two as well - as if you needed any confirmation of that fact. Rather than thinking artistically about it, I voted purely on sensual zeal... mmm hormones controlling my brain... gaaah...

*slaps self back to reality*

Anyways...

I told you this in the tip! *sigh* but I'll tell you again in less mysterious ways... I make a light area[mostly with the dodge tool, but that depends on the color...] and then I use the smudge tool to make it pointy by draging from under the highlight up and down... yup, pretty easy...
