kathleenJ wrote:The one where Homer pissed off the garbagemen and their service got cut off, and they had mountains of trash in their yard. ...right? I'm not quite sure on that.
Yup that's right. I like the line a few before that one.

Marge: Homer that crazy person that lives on our trash pile attacked me again.
Homer: That's not the way she told it.

Either way...at the beginning of that episode, what was the new holiday that got invented (that generated the first batch of garbage)?

"Something like oh I don't 'Love Day' but only better"

"Happy Love Day everyone!"

What was the gift (stuffed animal) Homer wanted for Love Day and what one did he acutally get.

He got a teddy bear called Sir Loves-a-Lot, the bear who loves to love. And the one he wanted and was disappointed he didn't get was something extremely similar.
In a completely unrelated episode, what's the answer to "What's your least favorite country, Italy or France?"

The one with the teacher's strike. Budget cutbacks were so bad that "they've even got Groundskeeper Willie teaching French!"
So, I just watched the one where George Bush Sr. moves into their neighbourhood...which favorite politician of my brother's shows up at the end with a housewarming present?

Which episode is this scene from?

Homer:"Hey Moe can I ask you a question? I have this freind named Joey Joe Joe.. um.. Shabadoo."
Moe: "That's the stupidest name I've ever heard."
Joey: *starts to cry and runs out the bar*
Barney: "Hey Joey Joe Joe come Back!"

It's from one of my favorites, the one where Homer's all erotically tempted by Mindy Simmons!
More name confusion in Moe's bar: Which of Bart's prank phone calls backfired because there was an actual man of that name, and which episode was that in?

His name was Hugh Jazz and it was in the Flaming Homer(Moe) episode.

What were the names of Barney's new friends in that episode?

I'm not sure if I've ever heard their names correctly...what I remember is "I'd like you to meet my friends, Armando and Raffi".
Challenge time!
Name four characters who've been "Sideshow" something.

That's it. You've probably even spelled their names better than I would have

Oh that's a tough one. Of course there's Bob and Mel but I can't at the moment think of any others. I do remember "Tina Balarina" and "Corporal Punishment" but I don't know if they were "sideshows"

I guess i'll finish it off. Sideshow Luke Perry and Sideshow Rakeem (I think).... *tsk angry, angry man*

Quiz Time: Which episode is this from?

Marge: Come on Homer Let's go inside.
Homer: But Marge, Look at the little guy, he's just standing there. He hasn't done anything yet. And you know when he does it will be something good.

Excellent. I'd also have accepted the obscure "Sideshow Marge" and "Sideshow Cecil".
I've wanted for years to see a Bob episode where Mel goes up against him. Mel is an enigma - I think his character finally deserves to have a story told!
Quiz question: The one where Marge runs a pretzel business, at the end where Fat Tony's mafia is fighting the Japanese yakuza.
Now...
In another mafia-related one, the one where Homer goes to Clown College...what was his major?

That would be Boutineer squirting. (bank shot)

Quiz: In that same episode, name at least 2 things that were shown on "New Billboard Day"? (excluding Clown College)

"Best in the West" ("hee hee, that rhymes") and "This Year, Give Her English Muffins"
So is this thing still on?
Uh, gimme three things Bart labeled with his labelmaker before he fell down the well.
Heh, back home we have the exact same apparatus. It ran out of label tape in the late eighties, but before that it was hours of fun.

A beer, a portable radio, and Homer's Butt.

Which episode is this from:

"Me Fail English? That's UnPossible.

(That has to be one of my favorite quotes)

Buh, took me a while to get back to everything on my board. Sorry.
The one where Lisa and Bart play hockey. It's at a school assembly where Skinner is handing out Academic Alerts, "so your parents don't have to wait until report card time to punish you".
Okay...if you're still up for this...name me five different pets the Simpsons have had.

Santa's Little Helper (Santos L. Harper), Snowball (I&2), Stampy the Elephant, Laddie the Collie, The Scream-a-pillar (who was sexually attracted to fire).

That's It, Just giving closure to the forum..... unless someone else has more questions.
