The White Russian
Nice picture, James. Is the background somewhere specific that I don't recognise?
Here at work we've just been laughing over the news that the Internet is 20 years old and "in 1 year it can drink". I keep bumping into it down at the Townie on Friday nights, and I've heard it keeps waking up at Penrith station in the wee hours and saying "where the hell are my underpants?"

Nawt really a specific location, I was just making up a river town as I went along.
And yes, with those absurd US drinking ages, I'm sure the Internet is much happier down here!
Hmm, at first I thought the concept of the internet losing its underwear was alarming, but really, I suppose it's not particularly unusual at all for the 'net...

Bingo! I have never been asked for proof of age in Australia (I've had a full beard since high school), but many of my women friends still are. It's rather flattering for a 36 year old woman to be carded, which makes me suspect that's how bouncers flirt.Concubine wrote:What's the drinking age down there? 18?
So when you visit us, take your passport with you to the pub, and you'll be right.

What, I... ohhh. I see. Silly me. Of course the age of consent would be different too, I suppose. But they have different ages, depending on your preference? That's odd.
Hey! You all have accents, don't you!! DON'T YOU!!!!!

Hi I'm back
I have my own accent.
When I was in France everyone thought I was English. Doh.
When I was in Japan some people thought I was a boy. That was kinda odd. But fun too.
When I'm in Australia.. I like to dress up of a Sunday and go to my anime club looking particularly freaky. I'm doing it again next month
YEAH!
