Strips like today's are precisely the reason why some perceive "Hotel Grim" as confusing and unfunny.

Keep up the good work! :P

I was of the understanding that anything relativly funny was better then cow tools, with the possible exception of Seinfeld.

I am blissfully ignorant of this "cow tools" of which you speak, so I therefore choose to ignore anybackhandedness and simply say "thanks."

This is "Cow Tools", the most famously confusing and unfunny "Far Side" cartoon ever, There's a whole section devoted to it in "The Prehistory of The Far Side."

Obviously, there must be some problem with my sense of humor. I typically can't stand the Farside, yet this one made me laugh.

Is there a good Merchant/Ivory film? Wait, I liked that one with Anthony Hopkins as the butler. Okay, one good one, and these guys have been making movies together for how long? Why do people go for that period porn, anyway? You slap some ruffles and starched collars on a cliche melodrama and suddenly the Oscars come pouring in.

For some reason this does not surprise me.

... on a side note. What the heck is a Merchant/Ivory film? Is this like Sense and Sensability or something? Nothin like a good meander through Victorian England eh what?

YOWZA! I can post again! The power is intoxicating! :D :o

I'd like to say that "Cow Tools" both pleased and perplexed me, and I care to explain that no further. 8)

:P

I wonder if this post will go through.
