Who the hell is Lucio Fontana?

I think we can all agree we'd rather not have serial killers using our bathroom.
Also, I see how the distance could be a plus. No more wasting valuable time constructing little toilet paper seat covers in public washrooms.

Yeah he does seem to be rather enjoying it. It also looks like he's wiping his ass with his hand.

I thought I remember an issue way back when with lower class Japanese who would simply drop trou in the street and do their thing. Maybe these sort of public toilets were a municipal enhancement that just caught on - they sure look designed for that sort of on-the-go squatter.

"Drop trou" is the coolest phrase ever.
In other news, I remember reading that Paris was installing dog toilets on some public streets, to control the national doodie crisis.
Hooray!

Dog toilets? I thought we already had those. Aren't they called "trees"?

Does anybody else think of Paris and dogs and automatically think of poodles? It's almost like there's some law that only poodles are allowed in France.

I'm not sure if this plan was ever put into action.
And yes, I picture only poodles too. And they're all ribbon-wearing females, breaking the standard rule that cats are girls and dogs are boys.

If a canine isn't male, it isn't a dog; it's a bitch. Ask any breeder.

So yes, it does seem that the stereotype is for French Poodle Bitches to be wandering the streets.

Man, French Poodle Bitches would be a great name for a band.

That sounds like the set up for a punchline, in the Worst Kids' Riddle Book Ever.
As for dogs and bitches...are the terms really mutually exclusive? I thought a bitch was still a dog, like how a rooster and a hen are both chickens and a buck and a doe are both deer. It's really like bull and cow?
And yeah, great band name.

Now that you've asked me about it, I can't get this picture of a grand danois out of my head.

Remember my once-upon-a-time neighbour from India, who wondered what kind of grain "korn" was. It obviously wasn't corn, and he couldn't translate it into any type of grain at all.
"Korn" is "grain" in norwegian.

Speaking of poodles I wonder how well they did in the wild, before dogs were domesticated. I can't picture them doing too well. Maybe if they travelled in packs they could perhaps take down a blind chicken or something.

Stay away from "Muffy" he's the Alpha poodle.

Checking Webster's, it looks like both dogs and bitches are "dogs," as in canids, but when talking to the Kennel Club about any individual, it is a dog or a bitch, depending on gender.

Muffy the Alpha Poodle sounds like an alternative band. I think I'd rather listen to French Poodle Bitches, if only because in my mind it sounds more punk than "Muffy the Alpha Poodle" self-effacing grunge.

Korn is, unfortunately, taken.

French Poodle Bitches sounds like a punkish, yet eclectic all-female band with a feminist message, maybe along the lines of Le Tigre.
Muffy the Alpha Poodle does sound more grungy...in fact, it sounds like some kind of original 1988 grunge band playing around Seattle before grunge broke big, getting ignored by all the major labels while other bands hit the big time because they weren't commercially appealing or had facial deformities or something, and now all the original members are either working at Starbucks or dead.
I think I'd listen to both.

Actually, Poodles are among the five most dangerous breeds of dog. That puts them in the same boat as Rottwiellers, Pit Bulls, and wolf hybrids.

Well, then, why doesn't anybody ever guard things with a team of attack poodles?

There were attack poodles in The Secret of Monkey Island. Guybrush puts them to sleep with flower-rubbed steak.
