Snowflake Studios presents Josh Nickerson Week

Post by Hbomb »

In recognition of Josh's work in both The Nolans and on Snowflake Studios, I have decided to suspend Snowflake's regular lineup this week and declare it Josh Nickerson Week.

If you have any requests for any particular comic by Josh, please post it here.

It'd be cool to post a couple of "Classic" Nolans strips (with Josh's permission of course). Things like Amy vs the Robodog, for example (still shines as one of my favourite storylines...) and Maybe replay a few of the KeenParody and MST3Keen weekend strips.

Oh! And the Dentist/Monty Python one!

Other than that... Well, I've never been an Icebox reader, so I can't comment...

I don't have permission to use old Nolans, nor do I think it would be right.

If you like The Nolans, I highly recommend you check out Icebox.

The one where he and Infinity Yak are fighting over an Eggo (the name escapes me... was probably somewhere along the lines of "Leggo my Eggo", though, ne? ), and "Meet Josh Reno" were two of my favorites. Ooo! And the one about Philip and HBomb going bathing suit shopping with Bridget, and the Charles Schulz dedication were good, too. ^_^

I'd say more, but somehow the server hasn't been working on my box when I try to look at the old Icebox comics. :-? These just stuck out in my head.

So. ^_^ Any other Icebox readers out there - post, d00d! Reco'nize!

I'm actually more of a fan of Icebox than any of Josh's other works, just because of the sheer humor of it all. But then it all went down the drain when Icebox: TRY came out, because Josh wasn't doing it.. It just wasn't funny any more >.< But now it's back to being funny! Yay! http://dmg.keenspace.com/comics/ib/ice48.jpg

Well, the main reason TRY lacked the popularity of the rest of Icebox is simply because Techni Myoko is not Josh Nickerson. She has a different style than Josh.

Anyway, Unidan, any other favorite comics on Snowflake... like maybe The DMG Files? ;)
