Ask Moose

Post by FlamingMoose »

Let's try again....

Any burning questions you want to ask the Flaming Moose? (ha!) Why Moose? Why Dick? Or the ever popular, "Where do you get your ideas?"

I swear I'll check the forums regularly this time.

All right, I'll open the question asking mayhem...

Everyone knows your Banner Club ads. Yes, everyone. Was at least PART of your mission in making the comic to make school comic that throws a wrench in the works of the most other formulatic school comics?

Absolutely

The more webcomics I read, the more I find the same old angst, which I can't bear. Case in point: Avalon. At the beginning, it was a good relationship strip and very funny, but it soon had too many characters that looked too much the same and revealed their innermost thoughts through long monologues. It's similar in most other school comics, except they're drawn in an anime style.

ps. what do you mean "everyone?"

Well, okay, by "everyone", I mean "me". :-)

Yeah, your comic DOES show all sorts of assorted chunks of unique all over the place. Which is why I like it.

Are you going to return to your roots by doing something new on Snowflake Studios, like Josh did with Fresh Meat?

When Andy gets a date with Angela

--Moose

ps. Please note, despite all my characters looking identical, that was not, in fact, Angela that Andy was with last week, only someone who looks remarkably similar, but has different hair. And is more gullible.

Hmm.... if only I had enough artistic talent to draw a guest strip.
