I apologize for the close resemblance of this week's page to feces. I know it is very unprofessional and also a big no-no to apologize for mistakes in art (you're supposed to just let it slide and hope no one notices), but I felt an apology was in order. I won't point out the mistakes though.

My excuse is that A) I had a family emergency (i.e., family coming to visit and i had to scramble to make it look like someone responsible and tidy lives here instead of ME), and B) My friend lent me JTHM (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac) and um... well, i developed a fascination with black markers and... stuff. ::twitch::

Luckily I had the page inked already and just had to color it. In 4 hours, I think. I never timed myself before, so I'm not sure if that's good or bad or normal. Anyway, the page is late, looks like shit, and i have head explodey.

Mostly I just wanted to share my fascination with black markers. I can't stop scribbling with them. The things i have made, they will be in my elfwood gallery. yesssss.

Meh, nothing wrong with late night posting. Saw your Elfwood stuff, well worth the time. Nice experimentation with different styles.

Yes, the pencil lines are still visible and i inked it with a dogdamned bic flare felt-tipped pen. I'll redraw it because i think it's fun and also the balance of black to white is not what i would have liked. As soon as i finished i was already thinking of what i should have done - which i regard as a good sign.

Thanks! Heh, it is a bit plif-ish - i hadn't thought of that! I haven't read all of that comic, but what i've seen is really fun ^__^
