Dolly, Lolly, Lolly, get your Gris-Gris here...

Post by Nd »

Well, I've gotten some "prototypes" of the Gris-Gris dolls. I've approved one and as soon as it's made, I'll post pictures and start taking orders. Yee-haw.

YAY! I'll take two... they're small.

Oh, and I love the new cast member too. Anything that comes out of a toilet MUST be good!

You're starting to scare me Simon. Can I call you Simon?

I had to consult the grimoire of esoteric movie references (aka Kevin Wolf) in order to get the Simon reference. Does this mean I have to wear a disguise now?!?

I think that helps to round out your "rummy" costume for Halloween at least.

Not to get on topic or anything but...

is there any updates on the Gris-Gris dolls?

(Never thought I would ever in my life buy a doll. That said, I justify the purchase with the understanding that it IS a Gris-Gris voodoo doll we're discussing.)

The forums are wonky right now, so I think I'm replying to the right thread...

The Gris-Gris Dolls are on hold because the material I originally chose is too crappy and the seams don't hold up. So... I'm in a quest right now to find something that works and isn't polyester. Bleh.

Maybe a raw silk. It looks rough and tumble (heck it IS rough and tumble) and it should be able to hold up at the seams.
