working together on a manga

Post by Steve-san »

I was considering doing a collab manga with a friend here.

And i was wondering what it was like working on a manga with other people?

It's it easier/harder to get the manga done?

a bit curious.

Steve.

I guess it depends on who you're working WITH.
All of us have known each other for at least 8 (?) years, or at most 15 (?) (those are estimates but, you get the point ^_^;) Except in the case of me and my sis, who I've known since she was an itty baby ^_-
However, when Zoe went to Japan it became somewhat of a problem, which is why our first pages were so slow. Me and Mandi live in the same house, being sisters and all ^_^ So we're moving along quite a bit faster. Also, we were ALL together for the summer when we thought up the ideas, which is what made it possible in the first place.
Make sure that the story follows continuity as well ^_^;; We probably should have made plot or character sheets, but we didn't ^_^;;
I don't think it would work for a drama as easily as a comedy but hey, clamp pulls it off time and time again ^_- So who knows
Hope this helps!

It's great. Not only does it double the amount of anime/manga in your house, it also allows you to be exposed to things you wouldn't seek out on your own. Plus that way you can blast J-rock in your room and dance around and sing Dragon Ash songs together ^_^
Er just ignore that last part... ^_^;;
