By day, a mild mannered dragon ranger, Mitch.

By night, the miniature avenger! Nick, the Pixie-Drake! (insert echo)

...

Or does this mean that I should cut back on the caffiene?

Uh, think for a moment if Mitch would actually WANT to be a pixy very frequently. It's a completely different form to him, and he's feeling a lot more vulnerable this way.

If there's one thing Mitch doesn't like, it's being vulnerable.
