Man... I am soooo sick right now. I have my trusty garbage can full of used kleenex right next to me, and all sorts of medication coursing through my body.

Well, that covers the Pestilence, onwards to sorrow.

*sighs* Cloud (my gerbil) is on the brink of death... Anytime now he should pass away... Dammit, you'd think that after going through this five times already with previous gerbils, it would be easier by now.

I'm going to be sick...

He's not dead yet, but I'm not sure I should tell you people the graphic agony he's going through now. To put it lightly, I'd be less traumatized if he was dead.

^ You got my sympathy dude. Hopefully, your gerbil will pull through, and you can get better soon. Yeah, losing a pet is never easy, I would know too.

Thanks for all your sympathy.. My cold is still bad, but at least now my gerbil is at peace. Euthanasia cost $16.50 cdn for a gerbil. And, btw, he was four years old. Older than most gerbils...

That whole entire agony thing was a mild hallucenation due to cold meds and dim lighting. It looked like his left eye was bleeding and had completely scabbed over. It turned out to be a build up of random crap in his tear duct, but he still could barely move. He was so cold and weak to touch, and I couldn't bare to let him go on for another day.

Ah well, I better now that he's no longer suffering, let I can't help but feel even emptier than usual... Now to go cram for a damned math test, present a drama skit in front of a bunch of grade sevens, and to struggle through the rest of tomorrow with this illness and emptiness.

Holy Shit, I omitted what had to have been one of the most crucial parts to this.. The part that makes me NOT crazy.

For about two days, Cloud was very cold. A classic sign that a gerbil is dying. He wouldn't eat, he wouldn't sleep, and could barely walk to his own water bottle. That's what I meant by on the brink of death. He wouldn't blink either, but you could see him breathe. At least he's no longer suffering.

Normally I wouldn't've added to this topic, but I realized that I posted this chunk on EVERY OTHER form of online communication I'm in, and forgot to put it here. There... And I'm still fighting this disease.

I wish Cloud well in the afterlife (If you believe in that. If you don't... Oh well. I believe in many of them. ...Sorta.) Either way, he has my well-wishes.
