That is freaky, dude, you have the EXACT same printer/copier/scanner that I do.

And now mine wants a hug.

It is a good one and he fulfills his duty so give him a hug from time to time!

Who needs children if you have a scanner like this?

I bought it together with my computer in a supermarket. I think I paid about 190 Euro (1Euro=about 1$, I think). It's a good printer and the scanner isn't bad either, but sometimes I have problems with CD-covers, etc. The scanned image is a low contrast and it look some kind of 'spotty'. Do you know what I mean?

Wow, you got a pretty decent deal on yours. We got ours bundled with our new computer so I can't say how much it cost exactly. My only complaint is that it's not as big as my old flatbed scanner. Is it just CD covers that give you a hard time? I haven't had any issues with the quality of my scans... what file type do you save them as?

I scan and save in Photoshop, but the quality loss hasn't anything to do with the program. If scan a printed color pic (no photo) the colors are messed...

Must be my luck!

I always save mine as BMP or TIF to start, and then after editing I switch tio JPG. Saving as JPG right off corrupts the artwork a little, which you may or may not already know but it took me forever to figure that out. :D
