All systems go!

Post by Chocob0 »

Hello everyone!

This is a new user/first post, so I hope to make myself known to the 21CF community by doing so... :D I'm an avid reader of webcomics, especially ones with excellent storylines and good tension between characters. As a professional actor/performer, I feel that those qualities make or break a good story. I have found one of the best in this comic, 21st Century Fox.

I have not only found an excellent storyline, but I have read about events in the saga that have struck personal chords and I have sympathized and enjoyed the evocation of emotion from the characters actions.

I now have my foot in the door- Hope you guys take the rest of me. Heh.
Thanks, Scott, for a great comic.

Dan

Welcome, Daniel! Glad you could juggle a bit of time for this.

But you're good at that sort of thing, no? ;)

Mr. Kellogg is quite the storyteller, and as you have seen there is a very compelling realism to the tales, interspersed with musical comic relief to keep us on our toes.

The Suburban Jungle crossover of this August is quite good as well. You may also find the past entries in the forum interesting, both here and the EZBoard forum. I had some fun here:

Hi Dan,

Welcome aboard! Take off your shoes and stay a while,
It's always fun to have new faces around here. :D

I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Hearing that folks
like it is a blast. :)

Scott (Can only juggle 3 balls for about 7 seconds before they go all over the place and anyone standing within 10 feet is in danger) Kellogg :o

PS. I've been feeling really under the weather since I got back, so I hope all will accept my apologies for still being behind in the forum and e-mail and LiveJournal. :(

What LH and Scott said :) Welcome!

I hear that - I was marginally tweaked at the con, particularly Friday afternoon/evening. This past weekend through say Tuesday was anywhere from entertaining to This is No Fun.

Aspirin helped a lot with the fever part, so the bug isn't too agressive, though it is annoying. That all assumes I shared it with you and you fon't have something unique of your very own :-(

Forgetfulness to make things work.

Post by Chocob0 »

Argh, sorry about this!

My webpage has been acting funny, so if you tried to see the pictures, you probably didn't see too much.

If you visited and saw nothing, well, the neat fire-eating pictures work sort of properly now. :)

Sorry about that.
Any chance you can tell us what REALLY happened to the probe, Scott..?

It's Tora's doing.. I swear it.

It's working now. :) Looks fun, though, I never got beyond
lacrosse balls on the juggling side. Larger objects would
hurt people :)

You may depend on it. :D

...When the story gets there. ;)

If you don't stop apoligizing for being sick, I'm going to hurt you.

Seriously, make sure you finish the medicine the doctors gave you. To do otherwise is to make sure that the bugs you've got can resist the medicine you've got. Failing to follow the whole regime is what created antibotic resistant staph infections in the first place.

The antibiotics are all over with. This is just the after effects of some
kind of viral bug, (at least, I think. The doctor will say on Tuesday.)
The current theory is that the virus caused an inflammation of the
thyroid glands, which basically will pump adrenalin into the system
at full power all the time. Result: I get tired, have high heart rate
and high blood pressure. Bleah. No fun.

The good news is that it's supposed to wear off of it's own accord,
if the theory is right. My blood pressure was very normal 7 weeks
ago when it was tested. (shrug)

Take care of yourself Scott.

Does that work the other way around in reverse too?

Don't keep abusing yourself, that's our job.
