Mad as a hatter?

Forgetting to wear your hat, Entrophy?

... or is the party restricted to Keenspot?
perl -e 'print "Just another Perl ${\(trickster and hacker)},";'

Laugh. You think I've had time to look at my *own* forum with al of the time I've been spending on the It's Walky! forums recently? Scheesh.

But, now that you mention it, it's handy that the avatar upload has that handy "upload from url" feature...

Mmmmm, Mercury fumes...

I tried keeping up with the It's Walky forums for about a day. But when things like a hat thread can go from somewhere around three pages for 14 pages in under two days it's just too much.

Still, the hats amuse me.

It just hit 25 pages. It's kinda degenerated from a hatfest into randomness, but that's what most threads over there do.

What, most threads degenerate from a hatfest into randomness?

I usually manage to keep up with the threads on the <em>It's Walky!</em>
board (ignoring the RPG threads), but lately I have had network
trouble, and I feel way out of the loop ... at least I can keep up
with this board :-)

Well, okay. Some of them just degenerate into Perverse Sexual Lust.

I am to please in any way I can! If that means making sure my traffic is low enough to keep the forums nice and low-traffic, so be it!

And some degenerate from PSL into WWII stories. Sheesh!

Ah, my network troubles are past. I just caught up with the IW! board.
Now to digest that experience ...

*digesting, at least partially, one thread* That was a great job
on Mark's Notes. What, no one mentioned it here yet?

See, your fan base just has not learned to behave. Or more likely,
they just refuse to. Too bad you don't really have anything with
which to threaten^Weducate the masses. No PSL-inspiring character
whose demise you might hint at with great effect ... no moderation
powers ... not even a railgun ...

Nah! You know you're doing a good job anyway. The IW! boardies
are making sure to let you know ;-)

I somehow *knew* I would find a post here from you today, but I expected it to be about me again not changing my 'Space avatar...

I have however fixed it, so now no one will ever know! Muah!

Uh.

Whee! Thanks. As far as I know, only one of the other regular posters on this bard reads IW, and he essentially got to watch me make that damn thing.

If anyone's interested in seeing how I summarize five years of someone else's comic and didn't follow the link in my rant, take a peek at It's Walky!'s "New Readers" page

It was apparently impressive enough to sneak my art onto a KeenSpot site, which (along with a link at the end) has already skyrocketed my visit stats for September beyond the stats for all of August.

A good 80% of my referrals come from either that thing or the KeenSpot forums where it made its debut.

We'll see how many of those readers I disgust into never coming back.

It's already earned me two virus spam emails!

Yeah, that's what happens when your characters are (roughly) based on real people. Real people are boring. So my strip features fake people based on fake people based on real people. I could threaten to kill Pzamdriel, but that would just cause violence against me when Pam found out...

Yes, and I appreciate it. I really haven't been doing that much to promote my strip, so this sudden inrush of visitors feels odd. Especially since I've been drawing a lot morw IW stuff than OUAT stuff recently, which doesn't bode well for my update schedule.

Shudder, it's taken me this long to be able to type this. I pray to god that the PSL of this group never, ever, ever, ever makes it into a comic form.

And we don't really need a railgun for the group, Andrew and I have enough bladed and blunt weaponry to arm us all. That reminds me, I was going to ask my instructor where I could pick up some good darts...
