Why can't I find my Photoshop CD?
I swear, if it doesn't turn up, I'm not moving.
Grr.

Even if you don't find it, I'm sure they'll have something at the college library that you can check out for a few hours to install.
Don't worry - it'll all work out.

If everything's too bad, there's always The Gimp.
I'm not sure how the scanner support is in the MSwindows version, but it works far better than the warnings in at that last mentioned page says. It least by my experience. There's really a lot you can do with it, personally I haven't gotten past the most obious of features yet.

See, here's the thing....this CD also has the drivers and installation stuff for her graphic tablet...and this Photoshop is tablet-approved. Gimp doesn't work with the tablet.

Yeah, I've already got the Gimp, which is decent, and several really halfassed substitutes.
This Photoshop came with my tablet, and it's my baby and I love it and I have to find it. Oh, hey, and Justin, I edited out the name of my school in your post. Sorry...just a technicality that I don't want it out there.

"....AND SO, the Photoshop CD was found, as well as its driver-based brethren. It all became a moot point, however, when Kathleen realized she was leaving her computer at home when she moved.

Is this the end for Kathleen Jacques' Coolville?

No, of course not.
OR IS IT?
No, don't be silly.
Am I?
Yes.
Unless...

*explodes*
OR DID HE?!
